Well thanks Matt, you've just made it 10 x harder to find a Sand scorcher........ Really enjoyed the video, my builds have always been shiny and new/restored looking, I really want to have a go at doing a weathered and rusty truck.

I'm going to make my TRX4 sport body more realistic with these techniques. Right now it's all shiny and unrealistic. I need to "Shippy" it up some 😜

Hi Matt, Great video! I recall you also went over the oil-drop weathering technique and was wondering what video that is covered, was it the BRX02 Land Rover?

@@scalebuildersguild I just found the episode where you showed this, 'Live Sand Scorcher Weathering Demo' and you showed this oil drop technique on the hood. Great demonstration and this along with the Vallejo air brush method for dirt/dust (I think you did this on the Land Rover, One Wife Livid!). Thank you and excited to start weathering my RC's

Which Oilbrushers did you use? I know you said something dark and grimy, something green, and some kind of brown, but there are many variations. Thanks 👍

Cool build! Thoughts on collab with AMPRO, in the way of a virtual video with the two custom Scorchers to highlight both your Scorchers and design, paint skills ✌

Hey Matt, I'm close to finishing a build, could I apply a clear coat to the whole car (including windows, decals etc) or am I best leaving it? Just thinking of protecting the paint work and detailing if I can.

I wouldn’t do the windows, but if you masked those off you could. Honestly, it all depends on the finish you’re going for!

Explain to me then, how the original has rust there? I’m modeling it after the reference, and it was Rusty there. 🤷🏻‍♂️
