    When I seen Brian Albert sitting in the audience, I was completely disgusted... this man nor any of his family members didn't care enough about John to go outside and check on him when he was lying frozen in his front yard.. But for some reason, they care enough now to sit in the audience for closing arguments. Are you kidding me!?

    A case like this where there's so many avenues of reasonable doubt is incredibly rare, most prosecutors wouldn't have brought this case to trial. Jackson did a good job, but he was incredibly fortunate to have very good facts in his client's favor. It's easy to argue great facts, and Lally showed us how embarrassing it can be when your side has bad facts. I'm sure Lally has delivered masterful closing arguments in cases where the defendants were actually guilty. The biggest thing that Jackson has on his side is that his client is innocent.

    Yea. A man who never entered the house was beaten to near death by a teenage boy who wasn't there either, with just one punch. And then instead of calling am ambulance the guests dragged what was left onto their own front lawn hoping he might die. And somehow manage to get every paramedic , police officer (local and state) and every fire fighter to agree to lie to frame Karen Read. Very plausible. Sure.

    Jackson never said Colin in closing - only Higgins and BA. And it's plausible, especially if they were all drunk, or high as some have speculated. What's not plausible is him getting sideswiped on the arm only and somehow magically projecting 30 feet in the air with not a scratch below the neck. As we know from the experts the science don't lie. People do.

    @@oiooi6460 1. You're depending on the testimony of known unreliable people to determine multiple of those facts. Do you trust people who one after the other destroyed/memory wiped their phones, claim like 20 answered butt dials in one night, and consistently contradicted one another more than the tracking data of a smartwatch? 2. The paramedics did not all agree. At least one said that they did not hear Karen Read say "I hit him!" but instead ask the question "did I?" Another didn't hear it at all. The paramedics and firefighters did not at all implicate Karen Read. 3. The car theory does not match the laws of physics. 4. We aren't saying what exactly happened to John O'Keefe (this is not the trial of anyone in the house), but that the Commonwealth's theory is wildly more implausible than "O'Keefe went into the house, some kind of altercation (planned or accidental) occurred, John O'Keefe was left on the front lawn."

    The 2 things that really made me think Karen Read is innocent - 1. The video showing her pulling away from John’s house at around 5am and the right tail light being 90% red verses the pictures of the car by the time the police got ahold of it later where the “red” was completely gone. 2. The very first search of the yard near John’s body around 6:30am and they found ZERO pieces of tail light, before the blizzard really started to hit. Even a “casual” search that morning should have turned up at least one or two pieces of that tail light.

    agree, plus Jen "butt dialling" John 9 or so times (as Jackson points out looking for his phone) was huge for me, as well as mutual butt dials between Higgens and Brian Albert. It's always bothered me, and I've written in other lawyers' chats about this, that they use her leaving as a sign of a guilty conscience. Yup! I always thought she felt terrible. Was also probably medicated and wanted to be in her own safe space. I’m sure her parents wanted her home too. And she was also still coming down from drinking heavily. I’m sure she was racking her brain trying to just remember the series of events. I’ve had a bad drunk night w a loved one and neither of us acted sanely and had to piece together over days what actually had occurred. Her confusion of leaving him at Waterfall makes sense after she wakes up and sees he’s not there. Her last big memory was Waterfall. Her screaming irrationally on the VM, well, that reminds me of the bad night I referred to earlier. If anyone had read the texts between myself and partner, they would’ve had all kinds of crazy thoughts about the state of our relationship. When in actuality it was all alcohol talking.

    Putting John outside their house is the smartest idea for “them”. Karen was drunk, they knew she was there, they knew they had a dozen witnesses they could use & it would have worked if Karen didn’t have the $ she did. If u “had” to choose a cover up idea it’s much better to do it the way they did than to put him somewhere else where you could “not” control the narrative. If they put his body anywhere else and him being a cop… it’s going to be much harder to rely on witnesses, distract, etc. it would be much more focused on DNA and the last place he was… which was their home. They put him there bc they had the perfect scapegoat I think.

His girlfriend dropped him off at their house and he is found beaten to death across town? Way harder to cover up. Plus if they carry him a few houses away, someone can easily see them carrying a body. If they put him in a car his blood is gonna end up in a car. Maybe they were gonna make it look like an accident…but then lucked into Karen acting like a lunatic asking if she could have hit him and having a cracked taillight.

Lack of chain of evidence, lack of evidence (take a photo of the darn tail light the moment you arrive at the Read’s), the statements by the cops of “as the evidence revealed itself” meaning as the taillight pieces kept on showing up in a yard which everyone in the world had access too, lack of credible cw experts…this is a police officer who was killed and yet they treated this investigation casually. By putting the JO on his property he can control the scene & other factors in a way, since he is a cop, & is with family & friends. Compared to an uncontroled scene. He knew most of BPD (28 years) that came over to his house/crime scene. It's the Good ol' Boys Club! I'm probably jaded coming from a LE family. Thanks for the breakdown Peter, love the channel. Interesting that Lally's opening statement talked about the key cycles and Karen hit him at 12:45 as proof, and in closing Lally didn't bring up either. Karen got home at 12:36 - so the 12:45 was a lie. And the key cycle J. Paul talked about was when the suv was backed up and driven onto the tow truck, J. Paul's count was off, he didn't know about two things that happened when he was doing his count.

    None of it makes any sense he has changed timelines 3 times. He is speaking out both sides of his mouth when tech data lines up for them it’s accurate when it doesn’t it’s wrong. Key cycles have no dates that’s okay a cop wrote in report he saw a ring video at 12:41 she probably coming home but there’s no date so how do we know it’s missing video. He says she said I hit him 4 times McCabe said she said it 3 times. There’s no evidence he went in house but there’s no evidence he was hit by a car so he must have been hit by car. Why didn’t they find tail light pieces it was snowing, how do you know she didn’t crack tail light in John’s car because you don’t see taillight on snow. Why did it take so long to get to get to sallyport cause the snow but that’s not ok for why Karen took longer to to mccabes house. Her mean texts are indícate she killed him but proctors mean text are fine. She was drinking so she must have killed him well so was everyone else so why couldn’t they have killed him. He is prosecuting this case like an overworked public defender defends guy who robbed 7 people and went in 40 mile chase. Who looked at this case file and thought it was a good idea to prosecute this case because Lally looks like a tool or he has no ethics it’s one thing to embellish things to win a case in something like a small claims case but when her life is online and it is a clear not winnable case that you have resort sneaky tactics because the evidence is not there that is a problem. It does not matter if the person did it that is police’s fault the family should me mad at police that’s even if anyone actually killed him at this point I just think dude fell he was plastered drunk it would probably been better for everyone if they would have determined that cause his family hates her for no reason that town has ruined its name the state police look like Reno 911. The DA office looks corrupt and trooper Paul has become a walking meme.

  • @jennrivrun
    @jennrivrun4 күн бұрын

    That suv went in and out of Sally port more then once. The snow sweeped away in video I think was there from first pull in. Tail light damage was done. They needed to move it back out for photo of tail light with snow on it. Cuz it would of been as open and broken before. So they move it out let it get snowed on again, and move it in again. Snow on floor as if fallen off sides of video swept away in the Sally port video is so strange. But when I think of this reasoning makes sense.

    Ok so Lally wants us to believe it's completely unfathomable that if John was killed in that house, his body would be left on the curb outside while their friends investigate the death. I didn't hear him mention that generally when you find a dead body in someone's yard in front of their house you might want to search the house? Especially considering it was supposed to be John's last known location.. Yet Procter just assumed no judge would issue a warrant, he wasn't interested in the house for some reason, and didn't even bother just asking to voluntarily search it? This is 100% a murder cover up Brian Albert is a first responder yet when his mate he was drinking with the night before and invited to his house is found in his front yard he doesn't even bother coming out of the house to see what's happening and if he can help? John O'Keefe family need some get back, i'd be going after all the Alberts after this BS. They're cop killers
