Just bought this looper today & it’s my first. Even though I understand the workflow I haven’t used it yet and you’re blowing my mind (in a good way). Time to go play, be joyfully humbled & then revisit this vid 👍

If you wanted to use a beat buddy with this, how could you keep it from drifting out of time with the loop? I don't see a way to sync the two with midi. I feel you need a Tone Dexter or TC Electronic IR pedal or something similar to "heal" your piezo pickup guitar sound.

Yeah the only way via midi is to make the looper + follow the beat buddy. So the beat buddy is in charge. Sound wise - I normally use the TC-Helicon Voicelive Play acoustic which has bodyres sounds that sweeten the guitar sound nicely. 👌

Cześć. Świetny kanał. Gratulacje! Myślę intensywnie o tym sprzęcie, ale jedna rzecz jest dla mnie kiepska- brak efektów, choćby reverb. Co zrobić? Jaki efekt reverb można podpiąć pod ten looper? I jak to zrobić? Używałbym efekt do gitary, wokalu, fletów. Pozdrawiam serdecznie!

Hey! so glad you are thinking about it but yes there are no effects. The best way would be to connect an effects processor (something like the tc-helicon voicelive play acoustic or the Boss VE-500 or equivalent) BEFORE the unit. So instruments and mic go into the effects unit and then the out of that goes into the looper. that way you can record the effects into the loops and make things interesting. Hope that helps.

Wish the RC 500 had a larger screen & pedals like this one, then it would be almost perfect. Holding out on the Sheeran until I see more demos/reviews. The X is too pricey for me . I'm also considering the Boomerang, but again pedals are small ! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 I do like the pedals & read out on both. Makes sense.

Why not rc-600?

got the looper Sheeran plus The midi sync input in the back of unit does not work with drum machines like the beat buddy and others like other loopers do.

I got a b-stock rc-500 for 209€, the Ed Sheeran is 350€, easy choice for me.
