Most expensive camping....KOA in Escondido, CA and KOA in Flagstaff, AZ. Both were $85 per night. Both were exquisite, but they did put a dent in our budget.....Glamping at it's finest!

Sometimes you need to treat yourself to a spot like that!! We still wanna give Cava Robles a shot up by us. Super expensive but looks really nice too!

Love your channel!!! We live in Southern California. Near Temecula actually. We assumed you both were teachers because you seem to have a lot of time off during school breaks, lol!!! We love camping. Have camped always. We are planning on getting a truck (own a 4 Runner) and a travel trailer soon. We have learned so much from your channel! We are looking forward to getting started!!

I hear you when you talk about battery drain anxiety. Can't you use the generator for a short time 120 volt power source...like for a coffee maker? Can your generator charge the batteries and how much time does it take?

Ya, the generator was the cheaper alternative to a fancy inverter for sure. It will definitely run all of our 110 stuff no problem including coffee maker and ac. We’ve also let it run for a few hours to put charge back on the batteries. We gave it a few hours, but I think you’d need a good 5-6 hours to go from 50% to 100%.
