Lets be honest. H&M's intention at the Oprah interview was 100% to portray the Royal Family as racist. This accusation was delivered in a grave and measured tone, to convey the full measure of the insult. Of course both H&M knew at the tine that they were deliberately misleading the public. This accusation provoked outrage across the world and was hotly debated in the media for the last two years. It does not surprise me at all that Harry now says that his words were misunderstood. This is classical, textbook behaviour by a narcissist who realises that he shouldn't have said what he did. Rather than apologise, he pretends that his audience is at fault. Harry has just shown us his true colours once again - "the man he has become" has zero integrity!

I've been enjoying Trisha's Saturday show but I didn't know she held views such as "a white person can't understand racism". She also came across as unintelligent by insisting that Meghan wasn't accusing the royals of racism because the word racism wasn't used. Either unintelligent or disingenuous. Her argument fell apart when Piers reminded her that Harry and Meghan willingly collected an award for specifically fighting against racism in the royal family.

if it was not meant to imply racism from at least one person in the royal family, why the next day when they clarified that this comment did not come from the queen or phillip did they not state that they did not mean that this was a racist comment. The fact that harry is not in my eyes trying to gaslight us all into not believing what we saw and heard with our own eyes and ears (the press in this circumstances had nothing to do with it everyone in their right mind took that to mean someone had made a racist comment or was a racist in the family) tells me i can not trust their judgement and telling on anything. If he seriously has the audacity or delusion to openly gaslight what we all heard then how on earth can we trust his interpretation or views on anything?

The meaning of Harry and Meghans communication is the response it elicits. Concern of skin colour can only mean racism.

Trisha is crazy. As a mother of biracial children I'd say someone saying or expressing my children's skin being dark as an issue then it'd be racist. So would my husband. She's reaching. Also Trisha you don't get to school everyone on what is and isn't racist. It isn't unconscious bias to say being darker skinned is an issue. I'd agree it was unconscious bias if it was a quick chat about what the child might look like or the hair they might have, but it wasn't just that

Let's be clear here, he's not taking the racism accusations back. He's basically playing dumb to try and get out of the mess he and the wife got themselves into. When you complain about someone making a comment about how dark your unborn child's skin will be, you accuse them of racism because the way he and his wife presented it, they weren't talking about how dark their son's skin would be if he lay in the sun to get a tan - he wasn't born yet anyway, but how dark his skin would be considering his mother is bi-racial. Don’t forget Doria said recently in Netflix it was a “ race -issue” .

I'm always surprised Trish isn't more balanced in her opinion on this. She's a good journalist but her lack of balance on this story as she's often brought in to comment, always shocks me as it is very blinkered. Sometimes plain bad behaviour and gaslighting is just not defensible.

Harry’s trouble is he has been given everything on a plate and has never been punched in the mouth when out of line.

They implied racism with what they said during the Oprah interview. Pierce is quite right, if somebody made a similar comment in the workplace about a co-worker they would be disciplined for racism...
