Hi PB, 😀big smile at this end as when I was watching for the stream reviews I could feel myself right back there again. There is something of an aura about those choppers, especially when they head out to sea. Definitely repeating this before the summer is out. Take care buddy. Mark.

I stay in Aberdeen and was lucky enough to stay across the road from Hospital landing spot seen many a helicopter 😊

It's 8.30 am on Thursday the 30th of may, and I'm watching this yet again. I'm becoming obsessed. I love hearing, and watching the helicopters in a hover. Theres a real buzz about the airport Mark, and it really does make your hair stand on end. Also Mark, where did you get the cap. Its cool, and you really suit being on camera wearing it.

PB you are so right about the sights and sounds at ABZ💜. Really glad we went back for more! Plus we'll defo do it again later this summer. Ah the cap - all Eddie's work really, ahead of the Madrid trip. As we don't do many together and overseas a bigger rarity, he thought he'd get some new ones made up - plus a few as prizes for the Late Late Easter Members social. I'll ask him where he got them when I get back from Guernsey. Thanks for your kind words too on it suiting me😀! The red does do better than the black it seems. Ironic that it took a freak gust of wind to lose the black one at the EDI 6 Nations show, and set the replacement process in action! Catch you soon Mark

Hi Mike - you must have had some great trips! This was only my third trip to ABZ and I find the place uttering beguiling. Shame it is so far away but I plan to return in July, all things being equal. More of a spring/summer fair weather visitor really😁.

Thanks Mike - we did have some fun with that in the chat. I had totally missed that in my previous two trips. Probably wouldn't have noticed it today except for the flames and smoke from the firefighters doing their drills.

No bother, one of my best friend was Captain of HKS16A in GEMED. I’m an AFISO is Sumburgh, EGPB, so was waiting to see if he made it out in time 😂😂

Hi Keeley - ah I see. When I watch those choppers heading back out to see I am utterly in awe of the work those pilots do and for that matter the folks heading out to the rigs in all kinds of weathers. Hoping to return to ABZ in July. What a cool job you have too!🤩
