Yes, agreed to all MPs were voted into Parliament by Singapore Citizens above the age of 21 Years Old. Since LKY our first Prime Minister and his trusted honest and trueful old cabinet guards. New PAP Ministers voted into Parliament by Singapore citizens does their jobs well and as a Singapore citizen i am proud of being Singaporean. Unfortunately, after LKY passed away in 2015. Under our LHL leadership, there still are many good PAP MPs following LKY way of doing things and helping all Singapore Citizens of all ages. Debates in Parliament were carried out well and with fair judgement. After the 2020 G. Elections, PAP MPs voted into Parliament does not qualify but only wanted the high salaries that comes with it BUT not all PAP MPs are bad. Only a few 'bad apples' If you are against the PAP Ruling Party in any way, Please do the neccessary to enquire regarding your unhappiness to the Prime Minister Office email address and tell LHL. Don't use comment as a weapon to advertise your Grief of unhappiness. Take Action.

Its ridiculous, are the majority PAP hearing themselves...if the 2 wp leaders are to be referred to the public prosecutors to be proven guilty then why is everyone or rather pm and his mahority of loyal cadres speaking in such a way that they had oredi condemned the wp leaders as guilty as only presented by the COP findings? No matter how credible the findings are, it isn't their business to lead or insinuate these collective judgements. That's gaslighting or bullying to say the worst. If honesty were to be upheld so should justice and fairness. Guilty or not, fair trial and the full legal instruments n processes should be made available to the wp before such strong condemning overtures be made.

That they appointed FMSS as AHTC’s managing agent and awarded contracts for Essential Maintenance Services Unit (EMSU) services to the company without calling tenders. That they failed to ensure meaningful oversight of payments to FMSS and its service provider FM Solutions & Integrated Services (FMSI). When Sylvia Lim spoke about her rebuttal of the COP report about her supporting their perceptions, the makeup of the COP, the way COP proceeded with its questionings , none of the PAP MPs including Desmond Lee rose to rebut, showing that they cannot refute what she said. So much for integrity , honesty and justice.

She was just bringing up the point a liar will not always be a liar, you need to give them a fair hearing, like a rapist, you will still need a new trial to convict him, evidence should not be he was a rapist, so always a rapist, they deserve a second chance. Granted, like u said, if the offender was convicted of reoffending, then, the fines should be adjusted accordingly as it shows he or she is incorrigible, like Pritam doubling down on his lies. 2. Indranee was addressing the parliament because she is the LEADER of the house, basically it's her responsibilty to initiate the COP findings to parliament in a way. 3. She did say the COP considered ALL evidences, the annexes in the final report are just the RELEVANT evidence made pertinent. ALL the evidences will still be available should they go to PP. I don't see anything wrong with that. Cherry picking and only attaching relavent evidences are 2 different things, are you sure you wanna go down that road? Because, you will have to prove that the evidence presented by COP is totally false...for one, the simple fact ALONE that the 3 WP leaders knew about the lie in 8th Aug, and they formed the DP without telling anyone in their party of their knowledge of the lies alone is enough to conclude everything, if you use simple logical deduction. 4. She did not give a different interpretation, she just said the part of evidence Sylvia submitted was taken into context and consideration, unlike Sylvia's assumption that they do it on purpose to skip that part (which was included in the report). Basically the gist of the reply was, action speaks louder than words, if Pritam really meant she should not lie, again, something would have taken place, but no actions were taken after the meeting with that notes, which seems to fit the narrative of Pritam asking her to take it to the grave comment, common sense will tell you that. 5. I think it's fair to have proportionate representation, and part of the rules. It is also true that the rules, house of order or whatever it is called, of a) to bring in a lawyer, b) to have more opposition could have been debated long before this RK debacle if it were deemed unsatisfactory, also the amendments were signed off by Low Thia Kiang. They did not oppose it then, why oppose it now when thing don't go their way? Simple whinging evident by Sylvia. 6. The point is really, all evidences point to Pritam lying, if you have any semblence of something called common sense... look at Pritam's videos, he did not give straight answers, yes, understandably you don't want to say yes, you are guilty outright, but he gave nothing of value (all fluff) of his otherwise suppositely truthful evidences as well. Like it was evident during the session just now, he was beating around the bush so much answering nothing, wasting everyone's time. 7. What do you reckon they should do? Nothing? or Convict him as it is evidently clear that he is lying, basically the conclusion of COP, but Pritam was crying foul, as usual. Both will result in a weak government. PP in my opinion is the fairest option, if he is innocent, the more he should want to go to PP to prove his innocence. Yes, the COP concluded he is guilty, but not handing him the punishment, but giving him the opportunity to "Clear his name" since he is crying foul, what more could be done???? After listening on the COP hearing, I actually agree that the WP's leaders testimonies are not consistent so they most likely are lying. However, what I do not like is the double standard they have when treating this RK's saga & 2017 LHL's siblings saga. I watched 2017 saga and I could only say it's PAP's one party show in parliament with nobody daring to question against PM. Also I feel that bringing family matters to parliament, which is for important political issues, are not the right thing to do.

Why didn't Indranee refer RK's case to the PP? Because the case was so thin that it would be laughed out of court. RK said she accompanied a sexual assault victim to lodge a report. The victim came out crying because one police officer commented about her dressing and her drinking. Indranee accused her of smearing the Singapore Police Force. No court will connect the two. That's why Indranee kept the case within parliament where there was no cross examination of both suspect and witness. The COP did not even fulfill its remit of why RK lied. Did the incident really happen and RK lied about accompanying the victim? Or did the whole incident not happen at all? Still cannot see that it's a witchhunt?

Our ministers ought to learn from UK and other western democratic parliaments where their ministers are eloquent, sharp and spontaneous in rebuttals unlike our ministers behaving robotic and like an administrators making reports. Further PAP do not deserve the authority to state they uphold democracy when they have been an authoritarian government suppressing divergent opinions on slightest issues and destroying opponents financially and their livelihood ( likened to assignation conducted by other dictators ). Our parliamentary proceedings appears to be likened to a drama show where members acting with script. JP Phua. When any MPs voted into Parliament, its important to be honest first plus having real evidence. RK unfortunately did a bad judgement and told an untruth in Parliament on 3 Aug. 2021 and after four months later did the truth came out from RK. RK was a first time junior MP voted by the Sengkang Residents. RK was never trained by the Senior WP leaders. PS never trained her at all, neither did any one else in the WP. RK 1st mistake in 2020 after the G. Election made sarcatic remarks on races in Singapore and was warned by the SPF. That was a mistake but RK never learnt from her mistake. Second time was in Parliament on 3 August 2021. Lying in Parliament about accompanying a raped victim to a police station and the police had made fun of the raped victim. This was a lie that RK told in Parliament. RK obviously wanted revenge by disgracing the SPF by using the Parliament Platform to do it. If the story RK told was true and have evidence, Police Statement plus the name of the Police Station that RK had brought the raped victim to after the Minister Of Law had asked for an given. Then RK is a honest and trusted MP of WP. Unfortunately, RK was not and carried on lying 3 times. So RK will be fine $35k. If not mistaken, this sum is not voted yet by the members of Parliament. If You JP Phua had seen the live telecast via CNA youtube channel. WP PS was against the $35K and only agreed for $25K. The $10K were still not voted. If you JP Phua only read the news from media platform. WP PS and the WP MP for Aljunied lied on Oath in the COP enquiry to give evidence. These 2 WP MPs. PS and the Aljunied GRC MP lied as they do not want to be trueful in their testimonies to protect themselves. Lying under Oath is Perjury and can be procecuted by a Public Procecutor of law in a Court by an independent Judge Of Singapore.

There are 4 parts of Pritam's testimony that lasted 9 hours available on line. Go watch them and tell me where Pritam lied on which of the 4 parts and at what timeline. Watch Manap's interview again. Everything Edwin Tong asked about RK, he answered in full. When Edwin Tong asked him about what documents Pritam and Sylvia had with them, he said he didn't know. What has that got to do with RK's lies? After repeated questioning, he said to check with Pritam and Sylvia as they would be interviewed later. He also mentioned that he didn't want to give false testimony as he did not know. Edwin then asked if he's refusing to answer and he said yes, as he's not a lawyer. If this is not a witch hunt, I don't know what is. Frankly, I don't think all who gave speeches watched the full interviews with Pritam and Manap.

The truth had to come from RK and no one else. If Pritam had announced she lied before she confessed, her story would be " I didn't admit to him that I lied". And the media focus will be turned to Pritam, away from RK. So to those idiots who asks why it took so long. This is why. The confession had to come from RK. The more I analyse this the more I appreciate the brilliant mind of Pritam. He's playing chess while the PAP is playing checkers. He will always be one step ahead. Fear not, seekers of the truth. The courts still has not ruled after so many years, if I'm not wrong. Everyday there's no resolution it puts the PAP in a bad light. Everyday people are reminded of the bully politics of the PAP. How many more votes is the PAP prepared to lose if this insanity continues? Isn't it time for you to change your playbook instead of relying on the same playbook of LKY in a bygone era? Why not win the voters of Aljunied and Sengkang over instead of hammering them day in and day out that they are stupid to vote for MPs whom you accuse of lying without hard evidence? Voters want to be persuaded, they don't want to be scorned at. If you really care about the future of Singapore, you should stop this immediately. We are a united country. Being an opposition party is already so so easy, Still can have trust issue. Do you know just how easy and relax it is to be an opposition MP? Never been so easy before. I salute the PAP to defending our democracy with such hard work. I hope the WP can treasure this relax, easy and high remuneration job. Don't forget who send them in. It is the people. If we can send you in, we can take you out. We, the people have the power to remove the WP and put in place another opposition party to take over as Leader of Opposition. In this era, thing change fast. The WP should never use the internet and social media to judge the support of the people as proved by previous elections. Anything can happen in future. The biggest opposition can overnight become the smallest one. Just look at facebook where people thought is untouchable. One day market value wipe out 200 billions dollar. Similarly, with collective power of the people, we can use our vote to turn the WP into the smallest opposition as and when we like.

Many are asking, If we the people and taxpayer can afford to pay close to half a million dollar package payroll for an Opps Leader, Why not we get a better qualified, more talented and more capable LO than Pritam Singh? You mean to say with such a high salary package, we cannot find better people to be replace PS? Of course we can. Now, I hope next round, the people on the ground can exerise their collective power and gather collective will and turn this dream into a reality. All parties must be held to the same standards, not just the opposition. With the exception of one person, everyone on the CoP is made up of the PAP members. The question of conflict of interest is there as the investigation is against the heads of the main opposition of PAP.

Does misleading the public in parliament constitute a lie? If not, then RK is innocent. If yes, than Indranee is many times more guilty. Let me address Indranee's speech point for point. 1. The remit of the COP was to find out why RK lied. They did not find out why she lied. She confessed to lying but did not explain why she lied. Was she paid to lie and by whom? Or is she just a pathological liar who cannot control her need to lie. The COP has not provided the answers. 2. Indranee admitted the remit was not to look into the 3 WP leadership. That's why it's being referred to the PP. Why then is she casting aspersions on the WP leaders to influence the judiciary even before they've decided to take on the case? 3. She said the interview took so long because of the witness. I don't think she watched any of the interviews. Pritam provided his testimony. Edwin Tong tried to change his testimony a hundred ways with a hundred different hypothetical questions because he didn't like Pritam's answers. That's what happened, Indranee. 4. She said the 3 leader's didn't need legal council because Pritam and Sylvia are lawyers. What about Manap? If he had a lawyer next to him, he wouldn't have made the mistake of saying he refused to answer an irrelevant question. He would have just said, "can't recall", which is impossible to prove otherwise. 5. Indranee did not address the fact that 4 critical paragraphs were not included in the report that include the words, " can't lie, right?" and RK's answer, "right". Indranee did not commit to putting those 4 paragraphs in the COP report which the accused party deemed critical 6. The WPs DP is not the business of the PAP. Why does Indranee cast aspersions on the inner workings of an opposition party duly elected by their constituents? Did any opposition party cast aspersions on the PAP when one of their MP was caught having an affair with a married staff member? No. Why can't the PAP treat the WP and their constituents with the same respect? Do their votes mean nothing? At the end of the day, the COP failed miserably in the eyes of all Singaporeans. They failed to show WHY RK lied which was their only remit. Was she paid to lie and by whom? Or was she a pathological liar who cannot stop herself from lying? The old catch phrase, " take it to the grave" has now been replaced by a new one. " Can't lie, right? Right." That's all the guidance Pritam needs to give to RK, a 28 year old mother with two children. Any mother would teach their children not to lie. Pritam has already agreed to testify before the PP. Will Edwin Tong and Indranee do the same? Or will they invoke parliamentary privilege? That will be the mother of all ironies.

Let the courts decide which are independent - which is a fair way to deal with such situation. I as a matter of fact, when WP Low was in charge, none of these COP even happened. When PS takes over, this happen. Anyway, COP is not court room la.

@@mfarabi53 If the courts were really independent, they wouldn't even want to touch this case with a 10 foot pole. The case has already been so corrupted with PAP MPs declaring in the open that they have already found the 3 leaders guilty. If the courts find them guilty, it can only be seen as the courts succumbing to politics. The political masters will never allow the courts to find them innocent. They are in a fix. However they rule, they'll come out smelling bad Low posed no threat when he was the only WP MP. The PAP dirty tricks started when he won a GRC. In the AHTC fiasco, nobody went to jail. No one was removed from office. Yet they went on to win Sengkang. RK has resigned. Should Pritam and Manap be removed from office, how many more GRCs will the opposition win the next time? I'll stop here and decide if I want to share more with you after I see your reply.

Finally, we can bring Pritam Singh and Manup to court - let the impartial judges decide. PS and FM can argue their cases in court and let our impartial courts and judges decide if they lied under oath and tried to cover-up Khan's lie. This is super fair, if you allege that the PAP-filled COP is biased, then surely you will be happy that PS and FM have their day in court. If Pritam and Manup win, their names will be cleared and Khan will be doubly punished for lying under oath. If they lose, they should be rightfully exposed as self-serving dishonourable rats, and Singapore politics will be rid of such dirty politicians. Win-win right? No matter how you spin it, one of the two is lying - Pritam or Khan. And the courts will find out. This is for those Opposition supporters who have at least some morals and conscience (and also those who can take-a-punch kind, if it is a legitimate loss, can man up and take the hit): Democracy is not just about voting, elections and debates. Honesty and country-over-self values are the bedrock of Democracy. Being the opposition is not a blank cheque for opposition MPs to do whatever they like with impunity. Opposition can sometimes be less competent, that is fine. But not dishonest and crooked. Debates filled with lies and falsehoods are useless, UN-democratic and even detrimental.

If PS not guilty in court case , then a great win 4 WP ! Incompetency decision by COI to refer to court . If PS is find guilty by the court , most likely he will lose his MP's seat . By-election be call 4 .
