Dark Universe is going to be an incredibly beautiful land. Up until now the closest to it would be Spooky World (which opened in the early 90s), but that's much more small-time than what Universal is capable of delivering and was never geared as being a family-friendly park. As a lifelong haunter and F/X guy I've been wanting to see a full-on horror theme park for a long time because the possibilities are so limitless. I hope Dark Universe does well and gets the expansions it deserves. I will disagree on the holiday overlays point though. My guess is that they already have them planned out for Berk, and Potter as well as some extra surprises for Dark Universe (which would benefit a lot from the Christmas overlay given the European traditions of creepy characters and ghost stories for the holiday.) And final point, yes, there are a few of the best F/X shops in Hollywood which have been building "things" for Epic Universe. Some really amazing minds at work.

1:44:58 for them to keep AK open while doing the construction for the new retheme is insane. Yeah that park is going to be dead and a waste for them to keep running. It would be smart if they keep AK closed for at least a year to finish construction/refurb the park.
