They also not smart enough to understand you have to kill an animal before you can eat it.

@@user-yp9wp4td4l Just pointing out that the answer there is no innocence, only those who think they are. Wolves don't morally think about the deer before they take it down, it's only Nature, and we only call wolves "murderers" if they've killed a human. To answer directly: I've never had (nor wanted) to dispatch a king crab for sushi (I prefer them by themselves with butter and sometimes lemon or garlic). However, I've technically dispatched a live lobster for Lobster Mac & Cheese by putting it into the pot. It's somewhere around here. I've also destroyed countless spiders that likely weren't venomous because they frightened my wife. I'd do it again too. So, because I offered an answer worthy of someone with a proper user name instead of a generic "hide behind the keyboard" name, that's all you get. No murder, just Nature, discussion ends here. Good Day.

In this case no effort was made to minimize the pain and suffering.

Called the manager over and asked: "Does this smell right to you?" Without a word he left with it and (at my request) brought back Snow Crab. In addition, my entire meal (including Lobster tail and a few other things) was comped! 😁

So I watched the video and thought about it even though I knew my reaction immediately. So here is what I am or was thinking. If I bought or caught or was given a beautiful King Crab like that (alive) my first thought would be to prepare it in it's most natural way. My Sushi/sashimi application would be with citrus and scallion and some ponzu. Mind you not much of any of that. The entire point for me would be to enjoy the actual creature. All of those thick, creamy sauces really surprised me. Reminds me of people who go to a world class steak joint and pour the house sauce or A1 or a lot of other stuff on before they taste the steak. Anyway, I am sure many people would love this roll. It probs tastes very delish. Not the point I tried to make here. I want to say another thing. Those products are not premium. They are average at best. I love you guys and have watched so many if not all of them. To be totally honest. You plugged a crappy product and ruined a beautiful King crab. Or at least in my opinion.
