I don't care what she did. That was torture. They knew what was happening and FOUR of them stood around and watched. You arrest her and bring her to jail. If you stand there and watch while a human has her face in a pile of fire ants, you're an animal and don't deserve to wear a badge. Officers are not above the law yet they're treated like it all the time.

So you don’t care that she was drunk, picking her kids up from school and wrecked her car in the school yard. She resisted Arrest and was put to the ground. Great by your logic anyone being placed under arrest can claim ants on their face and get preferential treatment.

@nl4402 It is not preferential treatment to get a woman's face out of a pile of fire ants. That's the definition of cruel and unusual. She should be prosecuted for whatever she did. That has absolutely nothing to do with putting her face in a pile of ants and standing around while she screams.

The store claims that's not what happened and that the parents ran out with full carts of stuff without paying and shoved one employee. There was also a car chase. Still overkill to get into a car chase over shoplifting at a dollar store and a non-injurous battery.

They ripped her arm out of socket and smashed her face into the ground . Mannnn how horrible.. this does sumpn to my soul😢😢😢.. these type problems exist in multiple departments across the country... these are not a few bad apples.. the "system" we have allow this type of behavior to exist.. the job is hard, but when it impairs you ability to be a decent human it's a issue. the mentality of the police is a byproduct of the system.. it does not matter the century were in. the lawyer says they need to catch-up to this century, its the mentality they have. The same mentality/energy persist that was there from the original conception of the police, the slave patrol. the relationship they have with us is not much different from when the slave patrol caught runaways as well as how they harassed free people of color.. I feel bad for the good cops, but the prevailing energy there is negative, evil, bad, or whatever you want to call it.. that energy also formed this country. that's why you see it falling. The people can and will change the system, but not until we collectively come together. this is why the separate us. all these titles that we have only separate with the exception of human

Then there are the supervisors all the way up the chain of command to the police chief that all need to be in prison for a long long time for not doing anything about it. The immediate supervisor of those officers should have immediately filed charges against those officers, and if he/she didn't then the next higher supervisor should have, all the way up to the chief. They all failed, deliberately sweeping it under the rug so they are all as guilty as the officers who held her face in the fire ant nest. She needs to sue them and win and end up being paid millions and millions of dollars.

The biggest insult here is the way the Officer's prolonged and unnecessary amount of time holding down an already restrained female subject Taylor Rogers.. His pressing his (right) elbow into the lower ares of her spine while looping his arms around her tight leg, forced her bare leg to be propped up into a embarrassing position of uncompromising indecent exposure. He compromised her HEALTH & SAFETY by ignoring her cries related to being facial-ly swarmed and bitten by said. IMO, that is why the dimwitted bystander(s) Officers became visually and (seemingly) cerebrally fixated & did not step in to rescue the woman. It is obvious that the officers were visually spellbound to a point that they were deaf to Ms Taylor Roger's loud pleas and cries in regard to being in a torturous position, while being continously bitten by the fire ants. This is a show of treachery, deception ●. betrayal of trust ● (possible) female gender bias, disloyalty ●, allowing prolonged humiliation ● Unwarrented degradation and disregard of/to Ms Roger's HEALTH and SAFETY, due to the facts, fire ants deliver a venomous sting and as in many cases from fire ants can cause an antigen immunity where her immune system was compromised due to gross negligence Well IMO, 👓 a "few bad/rotten 🍎\(🕶) 🍎\(🕶) 🍎\(🕶) 🍎\(🕶) 🍎\(🕶) apples spoil the bunch." @@Rebecca-hc5juBut if we don't see the video how do we know. It only takes a few seconds. I have stepped on a red ant hill as a kid. Within a couple of seconds they were biting the crap out of me. They may have pulled her up after a few seconds, as soon as they realize what was happening.

@@onebourbononescotch no, they didn't. I saw more than enough of the video!! One officer *held* her in the ants while she *begged* them (the 4 officers who stood and watched!!) to help her!! It is very sad to watch. Unbelievable!! And it wasn't only her face!! Her entire head, neck, chest, shoulders, arm.....!

Eighth Amendment of the US Constitution Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. This is cruel and unusual punishment inflicted on a person. Officers should not only be sued but fired and then face criminal charges as well as having losing all law enforcement hiring rights with any departments.

Apparently she was asked to stop but she panicked and drove off in the wrong way. Police had to pit her car or something to stop her. Now, here's my speculation, she probably resisted arrest which was why she got pinned to the ground like that. But they could've at least take a quick look to see if there were ants on her face and move her away from there.
