This was a special gig. The crew of MS Stubnitz are special people. They welcomed us, fed us and were generally wonderful. We partied with them after the show and we stayed in a cabin on the boat that night.
The history of this boat is fascinating. It's been traveling round the world, mooring in harbours and ports and holding raves in its hull. There is no vessel in its category from the 1960's still in active operation. It's previous life as a fishing trawler alone is notable, it's a piece of history and an honour to play on it, but it's recent history, fro its restoration to present day tracks the history of underground music. It was packed and I had a blast. Can't wait to return and play again soon. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. xxx

This was my first ever live show... and what a show it was! I was really nervous to go, but thankfully attendance was mandatory and tickets were cheep. I had lots of fun dancing, jumping and chanting for Pete, which I didn't think I'd be able to. Thank you so much for getting me out off my comfort zone and enabling me to have this amazing experience.😄

The fact that you can make a sick tech dnb track from scratch in the time it takes for the tune that you're currently making to play, is just fucking stupid! Many a hardworking dnb producer who spend days or weeks crafting a finished tune will have their heads in their hands after watching this. 😆 Big man! The Don!

Hey dude, the first time I've seen you on KZread was like 16 years ago (!!!), when you performed with Nathan Flutebox Lee at Google, London. I still don't understand how your brain can do all this, create unique and memorable tunes in a couple of seconds, but to this day I am as fascinated as I was the first time. This set one was very, very well done. Thanks for all the smiling headbangings, and I wish you many more years of doing what you do! :)

Maaan, I can't believe I missed this! Beardyman was my first live-music experience ever, back in 2011 with my dad in the Gruenspan Hamburg and when re-discovering Beardy during the covid times and seeing how he evolved I couldnt wait to see him live again. Also with the MS Stubnitz being one of my favorite Venues ever in Hamburg and having played live sets as a DJ there a couple of times now I was really excited for this, but oh well, I hope you're coming back real soon!
