Hi. YT algorithms told me you and I found myself in the right place. I am a sociologist and communication trainer. I have been dealing with this topic for years and I am fascinated by the change in social attitudes. Including the influence of pop culture on this process. I also have my own private business: I myself am a (pretty old) woman, lesbian, wife and mother. I live in a country where, like many others, LGBTQ+ issues are ok, as long as we don't want to talk out loud about our rights (which we don't have in Poland - none). For years (seriously, for decades, at least since 1990) I have been following film pop culture and light literature (romances, fiction) touching on LGBT+ issues, and more specifically lesbians. I also wrote a lesbian romance - the first of its kind in Poland. Long story short: In all these years, nothing has caught my eye like Freen and Becky. Seriously. Dom and Kat had similar energy - both eventually admitted that working together on set gave them a lot to think about, and we know that both Kat and Dom eventually identified themselves as part of the LGBTQ+ community. As a series - GAP is one of many. Important, but one of many. Almost every more civilized country can boast at least one GL series. Even Poland (Series: Control). We know that it is based on a fanfic (like Stupid Wife or The Stripper), it is similar to Rich Dad's Daughter, the scheme is almost the same as in most of this type of series. We know that we can find fan service everywhere (although I admit that in Poland we do not have this phenomenon on such a scale as in the USA or Asia). It is not the content of the series that attracts attention, but the intimacy between the main actresses. I will not judge their acting skills now - because, in my opinion, we will see them only when they play with other partners on the film set. What caused such a viewership and such a reach of this series is Free and Becky. More specifically, ship FreenBeck. And who do we have here: two very young girls, between whom is GAP. One comes from a fairly rich, full family, with an international background, traveling around the world, and thus encountering different social attitudes, different openness and different values. They have a daughter and this daughter, with an exotic beauty for Asia (more European - for us, an ordinary, though pretty girl), with artistic ambitions, starts to appear somewhere at the age of 13. Rationally, however, she also chooses the law as a possible basis for future earnings (it is known that the artistic world is capricious). Very reasonable. From various interviews or live we know that Backy describes herself as more introverted. The one who wants to go home after work. To rest, learn and at the same time (this is also from some interview) is like a little kitten that wants to cuddle and purr. Becky describes herself as demisexual. And (this is also from one of the live) I'm not looking for any guy right now, which she emphasizes - I'm not looking for a guy, let's start with that... She starts working in IF as a child (in Thailand, adulthood is 20). Becky is 18 years old and appears on the set of SCOY where she meets the other heroine of this ship. 22-year-old Freen, who moments earlier in the auto interview answered "what if I like girls?" She backs out of it immediately (just kidding, just kidding) - for me personally, classic undisclosed lesbian/demi/bi response. Freen is 22 years old, she has been in the industry much longer, she has experience, she has a celebrity vibe (as Becky said). Freen, who describes herself as more extroverted, is recently after breakup (which I gather from interviews - she was in her 1st or 2nd year of college when someone broke her heart). From the interviews it can be concluded that she is demisexual and needs a close emotional connection, trust and a full click with the other person. It doesn't happen in a day, a week or even a month. She's definitely not a candidate for a Uhaul relationship ;) We know from interviews that she comes from a not very rich family, lives with her aunt, who lent them a flat after her mother and father divorced, and we know that she had to build herself from beginning to end on her own. The family supports her as best they can, but it was Freen who had to earn everything she has. From youth. This is quite an important difference between them. We have a young adult and a little spoiled kid. And both are delighted with each other. Becky - she is impressed by Freen's beauty and celebrity vibe, and Freen immediately falls for Becky's beauty. But she knows this is a kid who has no experience of the hard game in industry. Over the course of SCOY, their relationship slowly becomes more intimate and intimate. A lot of lesbians have a hard crush in a straight friend, or in a friend who is still too young or naive to define herself. From the P'Nam live, we know that P'Nam (who also played with them in SCOY) kept telling Freen not to fallling that deep. That it might be bad for her. When do friends tell us things like that? Well, only when they suspect "something is up". SKOY ended and the girls agreed to play themselves on the GAP series. Why am I saying that? That they actually played themselves? For the reasons already mentioned. Because apart from their social position, their characters and social experiences are very similar to reality. We have a more mature, focused on achieving professional goals, giving a sense of security and independence SAM, and definitely more joyful, pampered and open Mon. And something changed during these recordings ... They admit that their relationship has undergone a transformation. What could it have changed? They talk loudly about learning how to communicate in a relationship. They emphasize how important it is that they can understand each other without words. Freen clearly stated in one of the interviews that the moment the other person cheats on her is the end of the relationship and there is no option to return at all. In my opinion, Becky "hushed the rumors" for this very reason. Like you said, she did it for Freen. Because they affected not only the lives of other people, but also their relationships. Of course, Freen's body language (especially while promoting SCOY) makes it clear how deeply in love she is with Becky. She can't get away from her even for a second. At some point, the funny Becky became the serious Becky. There are several videos showing how obsessively jealous she is of Freen. Unfortunately (I hope she will grow out of it) jealousy is identified by her as one of the proofs of love (again - her statement in one of the live). I think Becky compromised and agreed to say nothing out loud. It's probably the first time in her life when she wants to scream "it's May Girl!" - but she can't. There can be a million reasons :). Perhaps they have a silence clause, perhaps they will lose sponsors, perhaps Freen wants to calmly buy a house and a dog and have a financial background that is very important to her. Because she knows that this is her only chance for really big money. Maybe it's about Becky's age, time to graduation. We do not know. Of course, their relationship is private, but it has not been hidden for a long time. True don't ask don't tell. In one of the interviews (for some Chinese magazine) Freen said directly: Becky healed my heart. This is the end and beginning of everything. Both are so young and in love. At the same time, I'm pretty sure they didn't expect such popularity. They are under the microscope. Every gesture, every move, every foot under the table - is immediately analyzed and evaluated. Popularity locked them in the closet more than intolerant society :) I won't be surprised if they become more and more cautious - until they decide what to do with it. What I still pay attention to are very minor things: changing the length of Becky's nails, for example, the fact that despite beautiful outfits, they rarely let themselves be persuaded to wear tips, the habit of touching each other (you can clearly see what they like each other in intimate scenes, the same " "reflexes" we see when they drift off to their own world during big events, when they think that nobody pays attention to them). What amuses me: e.g. the answer to the question with which leg the other one got up from the bed. They both knew, and Becky replayed it in her head. It was plain to see: she closes her eyes, imagines the bed, knows which side Freen slept on - adorable. I prefer their separate interviews. Then they don't decide among themselves what to answer. Becky doesn't wait to hear what Freen (who is clearly in charge of information here) has to say. Both are good people, Freen is (I think) a pure soul. If it turned out that all this is just a lie (fan service), I think everyone would feel deeply disappointed and deceived. Because what the girls show is way too much for a fan service and requires a lot of cynicism if its a lie. I know my comment is a bit long - but I wanted to write what I think about this sociological phenomenon that is the popularity of FreenBeck - it's a simple human need to see and feel pure love. For me - remembering what it used to be like, before there were chores, kids, dogs, cats and all the rest. So I'm taking my wife on a date today :) What else? Freen admitted in an interview that she changed under the influence of Becky, she softened. Becky summed it up: you used to be a tiger, now with me you're a kitty and outside you're a tiger. And on that (very) lesbian feline accent, I'll end and thank you for your podcast.

She also at a recent fan even took this bag plastic cover that went over her straw removed it, took a sip of the water, put the bag back on the straw and stood there and waited for Freen to come over & take the plastic off the straw again and give it to Becky.

The misunderstanding on the pick up line was def not Beckys fault lol. The MC was Chinese and i think the Chinese pick up line doesnt translate well into Thai, Also she had quite a strong accent. But the MC was dope though, she was switching between thai and chinese (to translate to the viewers live) the whole live. Freen saw the carrot already so the MC said for Beck to find out what it is but told freen to still "participate"

Hello Niki! I find your analysis really powerful and since I've been following you I've been paying attention to tiny details of body language. That's why I noticed in the video that at minute 22:11 freen pulls Becky's blouse back to protect her cleavage. But then she went forward with her hand in small steps and pulled the blouse slightly to the side and when she pulled the blouse back again, it looked as if she was touching Becky briefly and Becky reacted with a slight twitch of her body . Well, the neck is also a very sensitive area ;) And in minute 27:47 you can see that Freen has already made contact with Becky's leg and Becky seemed nervous for a moment, but then moved her leg slightly in the direction of Freen's foot. I find it funny how synchronously they straighten their clothes, they really have to spend a lot of time together :-))) And watch freen's reaction when becky was offered the pillow. Freen's facial expressions changed as if to express "Girl, only I take care of Becky." then becky also wears the wedding ring from ep. 10 (2/4). There is also a short recent video on tiktok of becky wearing a necklace with a heart pendant and key on it... freen didn't even say that becky healed her heart, maybe it's very symbolic. Or it's her valentines gift from freen ;) Oh man, there are so many little things to discover with these two. It definitely won't be boring with freen and becky :)
