My recently departed Dad (Aug 1942 - Jul 2021, who served in the regular Australian Army from 1959 - 1965) always said that 3RAR was the hardest and most lethal force in the Australian Army, outside of the SASR. And he knew his shit. Miss you Dad.

@@kondal91 I hope that our ADF would get the Hanwa Redback, that would put the 2 millitaries closer sharing the same weapon platform.

All these little snippet videos are what should be used as ads for recruitment. They're great. Showcases some of the aspects involved when you're in the green. Good stuff, even for the dirt darts ;-)

Agree with you there bro. If only I got a chance to play with all this gootchie gear would be awesome but in saying that I am glad the government knows that we have to invest heavily into our defence force and happy for the next generation of soldiers to get the right gear to do the job

Those wonderful toys lol. My only gripe is that I've always felt our troop units derserved better than the EF88 Steyr. H+K all the way. ( G36, G36C, HK33, G3 ). Other options I felt aswell are Magpul ACR, Beretta ARX160, Type 89 Howa or the IWI Carmel.

Yep, twice the money for half the physical labour, way better looking female colleagues and a uniform that actually impresses women outside the base... And in the end, you leave with skills that can actually be used in the private sector, contrary to the bullshit lies the Navy and Army tell you...
