Can someone tell me how to get a shine starter in fire red game boy advance?

Story time! I began hunting Charmander in Firered around this time last year. I finally got it about a month ago after 30,004 SRs! Then I began hunting Bulbasaur just after midnight on July 4th. Got it after 292 SRs! Went to sleep, woke up and began hunting Squirtle and got it after 592 SRs! Moral of the story: keep your head up during those long hunts, you're just reaping shiny karma for the future!

Nowadays they all stay exactly where I find them! I have so many in SWSH/Home from years ago though, that crew will always move up with me!

Congrats. i have no luck for my regidrago at 11356 srs for it. its a pain but still goign strong! hours spend for it 118 hours

Is there a trick or tips to get that shiny starters like RNG manipulation in pkmn firered japan version? or soft reset is the only way possible to get shiny starter? Because in US and German version of pkmn firered you can use RNG manipulation, im just not sure in japan version.

Shouldn't it be 4,936 encounters for Squirtle? Sure you are dual reseting and it is the total but having it go up by 2 on each side makes it seem like you have done more resets than you actually have for the shiny. It isn't like you are using 2 devices for a shiny Bulbasaur as they are 2 different Pokémon.
