The budget priced Legend is a hard act to follow. It has came a long way with a team monitoring its' performance and listening to the customers.

Astonishingly great detector..And the build quality is terrific… With The costumer service and the company’s embracement of the hobby at the user level just takes it to another level.. (I own a few of their detectors now)

Paystreak coule you do some testing comparing recovery speeds on the coils, i have seen several other test using recoveryspeed 5 if you increase it above you lose depth alot, and going bellow 5 you gain nothing. Would love see yyou test recovery 5 with Both LG24 & LG30

I was issued my first dog tag in 1980. I never met anyone with a dog tag like that. It has to be Vietnam era or earlier. Probably World War II.

Why that super fast swinging speed? Is there a competition going on ?

I am not trying to hit on 20" deep targets. The modern detectors have fast processors. Even if I were to swing super slow....never gonna get it all out of the ground. Slow is boring!!

Do you prefer the LG30 over the stock LG28. Also, is it as deep as the LG28?

I do not prefer either of those coils. The LG24 coil is all we need for how deep we are digging. I do prefer the 30 over the 28

@@PaystreakSuperfreak I just got my LG28 in the mail a couple weeks ago & that is about all I ause also, but when I’m at a old site from 1800’s that’s absolutely loaded with iron & prefer the LG15. It’s by far the best at separation. You can snipe out the high conductor tones. Then I’ll go to LG24 and start digging more mid tones & try to go deeper. When you open a plug and extract your target do you use pin pointer to get all the iron out? Is the 30 deeper then the 28 or about the same depth. I’ve heard a few people say the 30 isn’t as deep, better separates better.

Dont you find that having such a high recovery speed of 10 makes the targets sound a little chopped?
@PaystreakSuperfreak

It may make it sound chopped. Our soil does not permit slower recovery speed than 7.

When you compare can you stand in the same spots so it's apples to apples

I never just stand in the same spot when I am over a target. I always rotate on targets.
