My interpretation of the music video. TLDR. After a few times watching this, I start to notice what makes this music video give off that bit of unsettling/eerie feel..YUJU DOES NOT BLINK THROUGHOUT THE VIDEO! With the exception of the deliberate eye-closing and a couple of blinks towards the end, she stares at the camera straight in the first two-third duration of the video without a single blink. In the original singer's music video, the eyes of the characters are redacted to embody the emotion of being lost and desperate at first, and the eyes are finally shown at the end of the video when the characters have come to acceptance of his fate. Yuju seems to aim to convey the similar message differently, continuously staring at nothingness with blank expression to symbolise that lost feeling (plus her grey lenses are helping to make her eyes looking more dreamy). Finally when she allows herself to blink and show expression towards the end, it makes her look more like herself again, indicating acceptance/finding what has been lost. A very well-thought concept, indeed. . . 이것을 몇 번 보고 나니, 이 뮤직 비디오가 약간의 불안/섬뜩한 느낌을 주는 이유를 알아차리기 시작합니다.. 유주는 비디오 내내 깜박이지 않습니다! 의도적으로 눈을 감고 마지막으로 몇 번 깜박이는 것을 제외하고는 비디오의 처음 2/3 기간 동안 단 한 번도 눈을 깜빡이지 않고 카메라를 똑바로 응시합니다. 원곡가수의 뮤직비디오에서는 처음에는 길을 잃고 절박한 감정을 담아내기 위해 캐릭터들의 눈빛을 편집했고, 캐릭터들이 자신의 운명을 받아들이게 된 영상 말미에 드디어 눈빛이 드러난다. 유주는 그 상실감을 상징하기 위해 계속해서 멍한 표정으로 허무함을 응시하는 등 비슷한 메시지를 다르게 전달하고자 하는 것 같다. 마지막으로 그녀가 눈을 깜빡이고 마지막에 표정을 보이면 그녀는 다시 자신처럼 보이게 되어 잃어버린 것을 받아들임/찾는 것을 나타냅니다. 참으로 잘 생각한 개념입니다.
