We’re the king for a season or two. I thought the margins were good on decorations but the last 2 years the section was an afterthought here in California

Spirit has had absolutely NOTHING on Home Depot in years. Spirit has mostly animatronics and even those can’t beat Home Depot’s.

@@cbelor Not really true, home depot started getting better in 2020 and before then it was mostly garbage. Spirit is better but home depot has some great stuff though.

@@Golden_Embers 2020 would be years ago 1st if all and they had better stuff even before that. Every animatronic at spirit this year is absolute garbage. Last year barely had 2 animatronics worth it. Spirit does 0 props that are worth buying, and have Cheap decor. The list goes on and on, while Home Depot has consistently better design, props, animatronics, prices and all things in between. Take away spirits animatronics which I already stated are trash, and they have nothing left to offer except overpriced costumes

@@Golden_Embers Umm no. I've been getting stuff from Home Depot for the last 7 to 8 years. They always have the best. Spirit is a Hit and miss at times. But never better than HD.

Home Depot is pretty overrated, the only thing that keeps them afloat is the terribly overrated 12ft decorations.

WOW! My jaw dropped, especially at the flying witch. I gotta say, I'm really impressed with the lineup along with the low prices!

Home Depot’s Halloween props keep getting better every year! All these amazing props & decorations leave the cheap junk from Lowe’s in the dust.

The flying witch and the werewolf are my faverote. The new reaper with the red cloak is pretty good as well

amazing as always home depot has always been a great place to shop for Halloween and I'm happy to say home depot is better than spirit now

I've seen the new animatronics for this year from Spirit Halloween, Party City, Lowes and Home Depot and I think Party City and Home Depot have the best lineup this year.

Home Depot is the Spirit of Halloween! The props are incredible I'm a big critic when it comes to a props detail, realism, sound movement, quality of build and material. They beat Lowe's and Spirit Halloween hands down year after year and this year is no exception they crushed them. Home Depot needs a Halloween Depot they should expand their Halloween department like takeover their garden center or something turn into Halloween Depot.

I’m so lucky and thankful for my local Home Depot. That was kind enough to personally call me. And tell me he had 1 hovering witch that is sold out everywhere! And now she’s in our collection $329 compared to the $750/$1000 scandaless people are selling her on other sites and eBay.

Home Depot has some awesome stuff. I just wish all stores could get everything they advertise! Our stores in Louisville KY barely got any props this year. I have yet to see the new witch in person. I get super pumped and save up my money to purchase stuff all summer and when September comes out sotres have low stock ☹️

Second year in a row that I've tried to get the bubbling cauldron. For a low price of $398 I can buy one that someone is reselling on Mercari. It would be great if there was actually enough stock to meet the demand of these animatronics every year.

Very disappointed on the sale of these items. Ordered 4, Jack and Sally 6 1.5', 13' Skeleton, which were paid for and the Flying witch that was in my cart for no more than 10 minutes so I could show the wife. Jack backordered! 13' Skeleton backordered! Flying witch dropped off my cart as soon as I was ordering it. The presentation was awesome. I was up for 14 hours looking for each as they popped up. Sad day in all really!

Not even a competition. Hasn’t been for years. Spirit has nowhere near the amount of props or the uniqueness as Home Depot. Party city is irrelevant
