Liv Intrigue Advanced Pro 29 2 - A women's specific full suspension mountain bike.

The Liv Intrigue 29 is a new model for 2021. It is a women's specific full suspension trail mountain bike taking much of its design cues from the Giant Trance X 29 series of bikes (Liv is Giant's women's brand). This is an entirely unique bike though: it has 125mm rear travel and a 140mm travel fork compared to Giant's Trance X having 135mm rear travel and 150mm travel fork. This is done because Liv knows many women are shorter and they wanted to keep the bike from becoming too tall (for standover).
This bike is $5299 in Canada / $4500 in USA.

Why is the size small suited for a 5'4- 5'5" rider? I have a size small LIV Lust and am looking to move up in quality and according to this review, this bike is too large for my 5'2 body. Are there any other options available for a shorter rider? Thank you in advance.

It probably could... depending on rider's weight... I sure wouldn't do it every day or cranks, or pedals or rear axle will suffer
