Fantastic Haydn-playing - wonderful artist!
What a happy Haydn and I am a happy listener. Even sound is controled with a mastery degree.
Bruce was only 19 when he competed in the 2017 Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition. He was clearly technically talented but perhaps a little raw in his musical maturity. It's incredible how much he has grown as a musician and pianist in the last four years. With his 1st prize win at the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition, Bruce Liu is without doubt one of the most musically dynamic and technically gifted pianists of his generation.
Clean and beautiful lines coupled with great pedal work creates for a great shimmering Haydn! Bravo!
Crystal clear, refined, thoughtful ornamentations in the repeats -- clearly and carefully thought through, and played with such grace. Congratulations to a brilliant pianist, thank you for posting
Excellent! Unique ! Great performance !🌹❤️🤗💜💖💐💙🧡
Моя любимая соната со времён музыкальной школы.Благодарю за чудесное исполнение,оно мне кажется идеальным!❤️
Piękny Haydn zaznaczony z subtelnością każdy moment cudo
When I first heard this, I thought it sounded like it was by Scarlatti. Haydn has tricks up his sleeve, eh? Wonderful playing, Mr. Xiaoyu.
Bela Inerpretaçao, parabens. graças a Deus que esta surgindo bons pianistas, para as proximas geraçoes, obrigado por postar.

Very good interpretation!!!
Espléndida interpretación 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Magnífico! Brilhante!
I'm always surprised when I hear this piece in world class competitions because I learned and performed it as a kid. Nowhere near this well tho.

One of the reasons may be there there are few marks in the score directing the interpretation leaving a lot of room for artistic freedom. Every performer plays it differently.
Hi, can anyone here tell me how they would go about playing the trill in bar 8?
私は貴方様の静かな音色が大好きです。
Unfortunately he's ingnoring many important details in the score. For example the arpeggiated chords right in the beginning, he always leaves the last note, (in all those figures) which is clearly wrong and annoying once you know this piece properly. Mediocre perfomance.
