I’ve never been much of a KZread person, I’d rather be outside with my cows but I have to say, I’ve missed your videos this week. I’ve been a police officer in Texas for 16 years and a couple of years ago, my wife and I bought 35 acres and I’ve slowly been building my cattle herd. I have learned so much from your videos and I thank you for that.

Pete, you will never be able to please everybody, no matter what you do. I, for one, love your videos. I love the interaction you have with your animals. I love your working in the fields, I would love to see your wood processing. I grew up farming, and am at an age now where I can't do all those things that I used to do. I have had to slow down at doing everything. I love watching you work on your tractors. I love the red. If it ain't red, leave it in the shed. You keep doing what you are doing, and I'll be there to watch you.

14:37 I believe all your videos are good, not duds. Simply put, it’s because farm life is hard and easy. When you add making the videos, jumping on and off the tractor to get the best shots needing to move the camera so you don’t run over it. Which who knows it could of happened maybe maybe not. Only you know. Lol. Pete you have no dud videos. Some days I want to watch the farm animal life, some tractor life and some just spreading manure. When a job like yours is taken away from a person this is how I get my memories back of myself working at a small Hereford beef farm and before that at a small dairy farm. I have good memories of each and bad memories of each but those good and bad even dud days is what makes me whole. Thank you for All the videos. Thank you for your perspectives. Just THANK YOU.❤❤

Pete, I truly enjoy your videos which simply show the routine of farm life. Even the repetitive tasks are slightly different every time you show them. Watching you do your routine helps motivate me towards the goal of building a farm like yours one day! I think it's valuable for people like me to see that part of farm life is routine - doing the same things daily, weekly, and seasonally. We live in an instant gratification world, so I feel showing the routine has educational value to show the world more of the labor involved in bringing good food to the table. Thank you for all your work to keep things interesting!

FATE?? As I scrolled to leave my comment, I traveled from ride of the valkyries to a commercial for a swollen prostrate!! That's quite a trip. ANYWAY, I wanted to say I thought the start up of the tractor looked staged. After a totally dry tank, sediment bowl, carburetor, and fuel lines, it starts immediately?? I can't believe it!! I had a model "C" and she NEVER started that quick. Even when I ran the six volt starter on the 12 volt system I installed. But she would hand crank at 15 below if I had the arm to drag it over. My plow setup was on the rear so I moved the snow backwards all the time. I used to plow my driveway, my yard, three of my neighbor's driveways, and part of the road when it snowed real good. I loved it. County plow driver used to blow the horn when he went by with his plow UP. I remember hearing him drop the plow down where I quit plowing. YUP, them wuz the good ole days. Thanks for helping me remember them. Love your channel. Blessings to you and Hillary..

I was happiest sitting with the pigs or reading to the bull (I found they favor children's books or Agatha Christie) or feeding all the critters. Cutting hay was always good for several days. Although the bales were beasts to stack in the hay loft. Keep doing what you enjoy and sharing even your mundane chores, that's what makes me smile. Stay safe.

I have been a mechanic, most of my working life. I make good money, and have company provided health insurance. My mother is a farm girl. She is 86, and still in good health. Watching your videos, helps me remember, following my grandad around, doing chores. Even though chores are the same everyday, they are always a little different. so when all of this becomes a bit of a burden, just turn off the camera, fire up the grill, throw on some meat, sit down, relax, and just breath. Like I said, you help us relax, more then you realize. You and your family, are well loved. I will keep watching. Don Byers.

I should be on my out the door to water our new broilers and ducks... but Pete just posted! They can wait 15 mins, right? No one subject is better than another... we either gather a tidbit of info that helps us in life or on our farms, brings enjoyment of just seeing animals (sometimes comparing to see if ours is ready to be called), or not so great dad joke that has sharing with our kids. Keep them coming Pete. They mean a lot to us that connect with you... sometimes your wisdom reminds us of our own fathers that are aging or gone. Be you. That's why we keep coming back. Because you are you. Now, off to water the animals and tackle my own firewood for the season.

Pete, you and Hillary are the stars of the show not the stuff you do. There are a ton of other channels that do the same as you, but I don't watch them. Every video you put out is a hit. I wish you had made videos of you guys splitting the wood and you fixing the rest of the problems on your plowing tractor. Your philosophy and attitude towards life, and how you go about your farm, and the way you take care of your livestock and tractors is the substance that makes all your videos great. It's evident in every single one of your videos, so I'm a little upset that you called some of them "duds". They are gems in my eyes. Love everything you do no matter how insignificant you may think it is. Looking forward to the barn build and keeping fingers crossed for better weather.

Little victories are wonderful. Glad you and Hillary got the wood pile done. Cutting wood is one of those things that just makes a guy feel good. The little tractor seems to be happy now. Look forward to seeing you in the next video. Till next time...

I haven't found a video that you produce that is not interesting. Living on a farm and finding someone who is not a commercial farmer helps me. Always open to new ideas and inspiration from you. Thank you for what you do.

For me I like to not know what you are going to share. Field work ,animal care, fencing, tractor restoration, clock fixing, farm planning, sharing success and failures, marketing. I always learn something. I value people who teach and share. Everything changes and evolves no matter what the topic. Thank you for sharing.

Can’t imagine the time it takes to shoot and edit your videos sir but I really enjoy watching them. I’m 53 and your videos take me back to when I was very young and we’d visit my Grandma’s farm. It was a big deal if she asked you to help her gather the eggs or feed the cows! She passed away last year and all of your videos remind me of that special time spent with her! Thank you for your dedication to your channel!

Great stories, discussing little victories. You do a great job on many fronts, Pete: as a farmer, as a philosopher, and as a communicator.
