Wilmington is a pretty beach city, very old, one of the oldest ports on the East Coast.
They have a river, beach, cute museums, several Cathedrals.
We visited at the beginning of the week, so it wasn’t too crowded but it gets crazy during the weekend and seasonal vacations.
