Little Steven-I Am A Patriot_1984 Rockpalast

Музыка

Steven's opening speech to this song is timeless. Being a patriot is about fighting for freedom, truth and justice and not towing the political line. This is why Eddie Vedder covered the song.

I am wearing out the repeat button. 1984. How appropriate are his words even more appropriate today. In 2024.. God i can never get enough of the song or the performer. What an all American performance.

I heard this song for the first time on the radio and thought it had been written yesterday. It applies today perfectly. I hope there are more hearts that are united in our country than those divided. I hope we put people first and consumerism second. Hug your families and be grateful you can enjoy them. We are one big family. That is learning how to live in harmony with and amongst each other. God bless those who read this.

Steven is saying something that I relate to because people in high places is destroying america with the greed on the people that is trying to make it and I believe that they don,t care about the low man, and if it was not for the low man, the people in high places could not make. It is a sin to be greedy and they just don,t care.
