Parents make a 24 hour road trip to pick up a dog who has a similar birth defect as their daughter. Daughter & Dog bond. Unconditional ❤ wins again. Great story ( as always ) shared by The Dodo. Thanks 👍✌️

These parents are so wonderful. They drove 12 hours both ways to adopt a dog because Bronx made their daughter feel seen and validated. I love that. I’m here for that energy.

This made me cry, my older brother was born with 3 fingers missing on his left hand, and I remember how wickedly cruel other children were to him. I'm so happy that this young girl found joy and the ultimate best friend. Praise God!

She is beautiful and the Bronx. That hand is actually special. God choose her and Bronx to teach humans we are not all the same. Don't let unkind words change her. She is a beautiful girl 🕊️🙏🏻🐕🤩

What a world that would be...

I’m so happy for both of them. Not only does Bronx get a better quality of life because dogs with defects tend to not be adopted or euthanized- but now he has someone who not only shares his unique trait but truly needs him. Brooklyn will have a hard time in school, no doubt some bullies but she can come home to someone just like her, who will love her unconditionally and get lots of kisses.

Her parents intuition was brilliant. It's amazing that this little pup helps their little girl feel she's not alone in the world. ❤😊❤😊

Such good parents who recognized the importance of a dog in this little girl's life. Beautiful story. 😊

My cousin has Aperts as well! She’s had quite a few hand surgeries, I’m not sure if she’ll need more as she gets older- she’s 10 and an absolute joy! So smart and inquisitive!

@@meglyy Yes, when born a lot of apert syndrome children have MH issues. That was the biggest fear. My granddaughter knows she's different physically but that does not stop her. She only had the one surgery for both hands but a quite a few surgeries to her skull and will probably need more as she matures. Each time she bounces right back❤! She's twelve absolutely intelligent and mouthy😂-a typical tween! She's adorable!

@@LIONSUNRISING yes that was definitely one of her parents’ biggest worries also- how the other kids would react/treat her, etc. There have been a few incidents, but she’s resilient and won’t be stopped, just like your granddaughter! So happy to hear about other strong, smart, independent girls growing into phenomenal young women 💕

What better than a pittie with the exact same diagnosis to help take care of this sweetheart while they both grow up together. And not only can he be a four legged best friend while they grow up, he can also be her four legged security blanket that's there to keep her safe.
