"Little Paris" ~ The City of Wine, Food and Architecture | Episode.14 | Bordeaux France Vlog 2021

In this video I spend my last full day of our France trip in the Beautiful city of Bordeaux. It is know of course for the wine, but also for the gastronomy and architecture. All of this lends to it's nickname "Little Paris". During our stay in Bordeaux, France we explored the Brocante at Saint Michel. In France a brocante is what we call a flea market or antique market in the United States. For lunch we ate at Restaurant Influences. It is owned by a French American couple and the concept of the restaurant is a surprise menu! Finally we sat down to film the french snack taste test... we have been traveling with these snacks through more than 5 cities. So if you want the scoop on the best French snacks then stay until the end! In the next episode, I take a train to Paris and then fly back to New York City. But don't worry! The adventures don't stop here, I will let you know about all the exciting videos I have planned and what is to come on my channel!

Everything I use to film:
While I am on the go, I film with my iPhone 11 Pro Max on the Dji Mobile Osmo 3. This allows me to get super smooth shots. I combine that with the either the Saramonic lavalier mic or Rhode mic and use a mount to attach it to the gimbal.

Microphone mount for gimbal:

Rhode Compact Mic:

When I film at my apartment, I use my iPhone Pro Max as the main camera and my Canon 6D with the 24-105 f/4 lens for B-roll and photos. For the overhead shots, I use an overhead camera rig to mount my Canon 6D and connect a camera monitor so I can view the shot. And when my camera is set up on the ground, I use a quick release tripod. For lighting, I use the Neewer ring light and for audio, the Saramonic lavalier mic or Rhode mic (Linked Above).

To edit, I use DaVinci Resolve on my MSI GS 66 Stealth Gaming Computer. To store all of my footage, I use the SanDisk 1TB SSD Card.

Bravo! Jonathan bring the French culture… hard to see that side as a tourist. Great to learn simple things like what kind of snacks are popular to the French. Gratitude!

I'm sure you're very good and kind people, and this comment is not specifically directed to you. But I find these videos so exceedingly narcissistic...the "hey look at us" is so obnoxious. What insights concerning Bordeaux were gathered as result of this self indulgent piece? As an American living in Europe for decades, this is why there is so little regard for the shallow American perspective.

Considering that her fiancé is French, this video is only partially an American perspective. And while some Americans can be shallow, some Europeans are judgmental, arrogant twits that think their opinions of Americans is accurate, but they have rarely known anyone that truly represents the average American. One last thing, I can show you many videos by non-Americans that lack any kind of insight on any topic. Take your negativity elsewhere as it is not needed or wanted. I am moving on so talk to a wall if you want to provide a response. Cheers.
