I can imagine, Mono singing this whole sitting on the chair waiting for Six to come back. He sings it everyday, just to see if Six will hear it and come find him, but after a few days of singing his voice starts to hurt and then breaks. He thinks about how he failed Six, he just wishes he could fix whatever happened between them....

Years after she dropped him, the younger him opened the door and to save his younger self, he kidnapped Six and made her a monster so she would stay there. He even put an identical music box and toys in there for her. But since the younger Mono didn’t know what would happen to save Six he fought and beat The Thin Man and saved Six. But then Six betrayed him for some reason and the loops continued.

Oooh I really love that. That’s not a bad theory at all!

I absolutely love the edgy/twisted style to the artwork. It’s what I’d imagine an animated cartoon of little nightmares would look like and it’s fantastic.

Worst part is that six could’ve dropped him because shadow six forced her, or she dropped him to save him from the radio tower crumbling (without radio tower mono disappears bc there is no host and mono is part of the tower) and all Mono knows is that his ONLY FRIEND dropped him for no reason apparently to him, it hurts my heart to even be able to hear his eternal suffering and pain, being used by the Signal tower to destroy the poor world of little nightmares, Mono never deserved the fate he got, truly amazing work my friend, I applaud you.

God this really makes me think hard about the ending to the game. We all know that mono becomes the thin man but we never knew how much he had suffered to get there. Being alone for so long in a world where everything and one wants you dead and just when he finally found a friend, (someone he could feel comfortable and could talk to) she stabs him in the back. amazing song mate, keep up the good work!!

I feel like Mono suffered for years to become the Thin Man... it just seems like such a long time that he’s in that room. (I think the developers wanted to show us that) and man... it hurts lol. The ending of the game really hit me hard, hence this song’s existence. Glad you like it!!

It's one of those weird time paradox thingies. Six hates him for what he did to her, which he did out of vengeance for what she did to him.

The glitch in “something-g” make the whole song so much better. I can’t even describe how I feel about the song..

Oh... my... GOSH The vocals... The instrumental... The lyrics... The video itself... The voices (as in character impressions)... The mixing... All perfect. The only bad part is the LACK OF VIEWS! Underrated perfection.

I went back to this song after a LONG while. This song is still haunting. It’s a retelling of the tragedy Little Nightmares 2 has. It paints no one as a villain, Mono and Six are victims to an endless cycle. One they don’t know how to break.

When I finished listening to this masterpiece I was shocked, the music, the voice, the lyrics, it is perfect, a jewel that represents everything that little nightmares II has made us feel

Dude, I can feel the heart and soul poured into this music. The lyrics and instrumental practically MELT with the original tune. The singing feels haunting like sorrowful ghosts, just- So much talent and not enough attention. Plain injustice. Breath legitimately taken.

I believe this will hit up in the millions one day! It'll just take some time, it's gotten lots of views and likes so far ^_^ If I happen to stumble upon this masterpiece, then anyone will eventually!

Ok, I'm listening to this again a little less than a year after I first heard it and it still brings up so many feelings! Among my favorite lyrics are "stuck inside this lonely prison, bearer of the sole Transmission ... HEED THE CALL" I really appreciate the desperation conveyed in the beginning of that part, and then the static in his voice showing his unwilling corruption. That entire verse is so good! I also really like "Lady of the Maw reborn" - whether or not Six is stuck in a time loop, she has essentially become the nightmare she feared, and she is definitely a monster from Mono's perspective! Personally I don't like the idea that Six is evil- she's a scared, traumatized child in an unforgiving world. I'm still perplexed by why she dropped Mono though, and I imagine he is also asking himself why, as you portrayed so wonderfully here. Great work!

This explanation was copy pasted from the LN Fandom Wiki btw (it's not steal it, I did make it). *Explanation* I have recently come to the realization of how truly horrible it would have been to be Six in that final fight in Little Nightmares 2. We always cry about how Six betrayed Mono and how much suffering Mono had to go through, but only now do I realize that Six probably went through more in that single bossfight, than Mono did throughout his entire time locked up in that horrible tower. So first of all I want to establish something, Monster Six is not aware that she is a monster. I am going to compare her to the Viewers here. The Viewers are entranced by the televisions and brought to their own little worlds where they can stay ignorant of the true horrors of reality. The televisions are their escapism, literally taking them to another place. This goes for Monster Six as well, the music box is her form of escapism and it brings her to a fantasy world where she feels safe. So she is not aware of her true deformity and what is truly going on around her. Let's take a look at what happens at the beginning of the final bossfight. Mono enters Monster Six's room and sees her with her music box. At first Six takes her music box and tries to hide it from Mono, but after recognizing Mono's voice (the voice of a friend) she comes over an shows him her favorite toy, the wonderful item which has allowed her to finally find peace in this horrible world of nightmares. She wants Mono to join her, to come with her and escape the nightmare. But Mono doesn't see what Six sees, he sees that the music box has twisted his friend's body and turned her into a monster, so he decides to destroy the music box. When Mono first hits the box you can see the shock in Six's body language, she leaps back in surprise and proceeds to cover her head. This where I would like to make a parallel with an exceptionally unexpected movie, "Wreck it Ralph". In a certain scene in the movie, Ralph thinks that he has to destroy the glitch girl's (I forgot her name lol) race car, which he had helped her build to achieve her dream, which was winning the race (if you've watched the Movie you'll know), in order to keep her safe. So even though she protests he smashes the vehicle in front her her very eyes, which causes extreme emotional pain to her. This is very similar to what happens in the Monster Six fight. Mono knows that he has to destroy the music box in order to save Six. But from Six's perspective, Mono is being a compete jerk and destroying her favorite toy, the thing that means more to her than anything else in the world, the only thing which allows her to feel safe. And even though she protests, he keeps hitting it, and hitting it, and hitting it, over and over again. But here is the thing that got me, every time Mono hits the music box Six jumps back and screams. Why does she do this? Because hitting the music box physically hurts Six herself. Every time Mono lands a blow with that axe on the box, Six can feel the blade digging into her flesh, hurting her. So no wonder she tries to kill Mono, she is trying to defend herself because from her perspective, Mono is literally trying to kill her. Can you imagine how betrayed Six must feel here? After going through so much with him, saving him and being saved by him multiple times, escaping countless threats, and becoming greater and greater friends, Mono is here attacking her and dragging her out of her own personal heaven, into a waking nightmare. On the final hit of the bossfight, Monster Six is literally lying on the ground crying in agony from all the strikes from Mono's axe. She is almost begging him to stop, to stop hurting her, but he once again strikes the music box effectively killing Six in her heaven, and reviving her in the nightmare. And after all of that pain and torture Mono put her through, of course she would betray him, or course she would drop him. In the "Secret Ending" we see Six escape the Signal Tower through the TV. And if you look closely, you can see her hugging herself. She is very clearly in emotional pain here, having just been betrayed by who she thought was her friend. *Conclusion* When we first played through Little Nightmares, we were all seeing the story from Mono's perspective, we were playing as him. So of course we were all angry with Six and felt betrayed by her, because that is how Mono felt. @@IDK-dr2vi I actually do have another Little Nightmares song. It’s called “This Goodbye (Six’s Reply)”... it’s another song more based around the “Main Menu Theme”... or whatever it’s called. It’s from Six’s perspective, and a little darker in tone. The vocal is incomplete... and there is no video accompaniment yet. But I think I’m gonna finish it at some point as kinda an opposing piece to Endlessly. I’m glad to know someone enjoys my Little Nightmares content... so in short, yes! I think I will be posting another Little Nightmares fan song in the future! Idk when, but it’s definitely in the cards :)

In all seriousness tho, this song is like nothing I've heard before. Don't get me wrong, the most popular Little Nightmares songs are good too, but man, this is absolutely amazing. I love the variations of tone(?) in Mono's voice you can easily hear. It's like you can hear him going trough the five stages of grief, except one of them is revenge. I also adore the detail of the voice being glitchy sometimes. It's a thing I love about the original game too, that moment when Mono calls Monster Six in the tower and his voice echoes, so it's amazing how you added that detail. Some of my favourite lines: "Bearer of the sole transmission" "Harbinger of hate and violence" "Say it's not too late or tell me why you hesitated" The beginning also smacks, first you listen to a calm melody, then boom, everything changes in a second, sort of like what the game does to you, the player. Also I really appreciate the lines and tone which show that Mono is angry, because it's like most of the fandom forgets that kids can get mad too. Another special line I love is the "set us free", because I don't know if the "us" refers to him and Six or to him and Thin Man, but if it's the last one, then damn. Hits hard, knowing that he wants the man who was after him to be free as well. Because maybe even if it was his fault that Six became a monster in the first place, no one deserves to suffer like that. "Lady of the Maw reborn" is also something else. I don't necessarily think that Six shares Mono's fate of growing up to become the villain she destroyed, but it still hits hard. You can interpret it like Mono comparing Six to the Lady, the same evil thing in different bodies. That one part with Six and Mono at the moment of betrayal is another thing too, the lyrics and the way they're delivered is truly beautiful, because again, Mono is not an innocent baby boy (how a lot of the fandom sees him), he is just as brutal as Six, it's just the game focuses our attention more on her "violent" actions. And the screaming in the background at the very end just adds to the whole theme of the lyrics. Overall, this song is a perfect example of Mono's character after the big moment and a perfect example of how human emotions truly work with things like betrayal. You're not just sad about it, have a friendly chat with the person who hurt you and then happily move on. Some things can't be forgiven and will never be forgotten.

Wow! Thanks for taking the time to write that, I enjoyed reading it! I really love your interpretation of not only the game, but how this song computes to you. And while I like the idea of leaving the lyrics open to interpretation, I will go ahead and confirm that one line “set us free” is in fact referring to Mono and the Thin Man. A lot of people mention the “Lady of The Maw reborn” line as well and usually go on to state they don’t like the “Six is The Lady” theory... which is fine and fair, but I honestly didn’t write that line with the intention to illustrate that. It’s more the symbolic nature of her gaining The Lady’s powers and all that that implies, as oppose to her being a literal reincarnation. But I digress, I’m honored you liked the song enough to write a lengthy comment about it, and its comments like these that make having posted this video so worth the effort. Plus the added bonus of expressing my grief about that rivetingly sad ending! Art!

This song is by far my favorite fan made song for Little Nightmares. The lyrics were amazingly fitting for the melody, my favorites were "Lady of the Maw reborn", "Turn and flee", Slowly, lonely, gone, forgotten" and "You let me go". The music and lyrics combined feels like it's always on edge, but so harmoniously put together that it's somehow so relaxing. At first it reminded me of "They feast tonight" by CG5, but when I started paying more attention the second time I listened to it, it had a completely different feel. Its seriously one-of-a-kind, a song that I've never heard before. At that point I subscribed, even if it isn't Little Nightmares, I'd like to see your other work as well. This song fits the exact feel to the original game, and I especially love the one without lyrics as well to listen to while I read books, or just want music without lyrics. Why? Because even without lyrics, it still tells a story to me. Let's not forget about your voice either, it sounds awesome. I'm a little late, but thank you for making such an amazing song. Its amazing, unique, fitting, and overall great. I apologize for the rant, but this is such a masterpiece, a work of art. Again, thank you.

Finally, months later, I’m over it... but I still get chills when I hear the LN2 main theme ;-; I pretty much just stay away from the soundtrack and the game in general cuz it gets me feeling something fierce LOL- Which I hate to say... considering it’s such a good game. That ending just really hurt my sappy heart smh Anyways though, I really appreciate your comment! I definitely plan on maybe making future content :) though it’s gonna be slow going. @@shaydilane2172 Oop, I meant to respond to this a bit ago, but yeah! When I got into LN2, I was watching a friend play it and then decided I wanted to play it myself and finished it before him lmao. When we continued the game together, I had to pretend I wasn't deeply upset with Six, but now that I've processed everything, I don't really blame either her or Mono. Back to your song, however, I want you to know I have literally listened to it over a hundred times at this point. I'm listening to it while I type this, actually! I could just comb through each lyric and explain how well written they all are, but I'm just going to go with what comes to mind first. There's such a nice flow to "Lady of the Maw reborn, now tell us what you saw before the swarm, the horde." Then the part after that with "Memories of the man" is so sorrowful, it just yanks at the heart and doesn't let go. I love how you contrast the two and how you especially capture Mono's pain. I mean, I'm biased to Mono too, so I can't blame you. Lastly, I love how you sing "go" in "Fool to you, the whole world letting go." Oh, and it just occurred to me that this is called _Endlessly_ because it refers to the endless loop the two are in qwq

I really can’t express how rewarding it is to have someone delve into something I’ve made like that, and actually speak to the different moving parts and what they liked about it. Idk why, but it just hits me right where it hurts lol. I deeply appreciate the feedback and that you even quoted the lyrics, as they came very easily to me given my sheer GRIEF regarding the ending to LN2. All I’ll say on LN2 as a whole is that it’s one of the greatest games I’ve played. The pacing, music, characters, story and composition come together to create a devastatingly beautiful work of art which is teaming with emotion and misery. And even though Mono’s supposed doom has left me with a bad taste in my mouth regarding the series, it’s impossible to deny how expertly done the ending was. I don’t blame Six either, as there are many theories regarding why she did what she did. I could go on about my theories and thoughts, but we’d be here all day so back to the point; it’s very nice to hear someone likes my work, as even when posting this piece, I felt it was inadequate. Like my vocals were bad, or my voice was, or the art was lame, or the video composition was amateur, and so on. But I’ve had some nice comments stating otherwise, yours being arguably the nicest, and it really lifts my spirits on the whole matter. I definitely hope to provide future content... in fact, I’m working on a little something LN related :)) it’s more about Six, as this piece highly prioritizes Mono and his perspective. But as a creator myself (I've never made a song before, but I'd like to someday), I understand it's hard to look at your own work and think positively about it more often than not. However, for other people, it can be the world, so sometimes you just have to trust what others say. I always love when people tell me the specifics of what they love about something I've made, so I think it's only fair I have that same attitude when complimenting something I really love too! I listened to this for 3 hours thinking it was 30 minutes.... Still one of my favorite songs, I first saw it when it only had 100 views, absolutely amazing

This... the voices, the instrumental, the visuals, stunning. Beautiful.

MY JAW IS ON THE FLOOR. THIS DOES NOT HAVE EVEN OF THE FRACTION OF RECOGNITION IT DESERVES.

There's a theory that in Little Nightmares 2, the entire time Six was in the signal tower, she wasn't in control, and Shadow Six was, because Six's body behaviour wasn't normal the entire time while they were running from the flesh walls, like the way she stands up after Mono breaks the music box. She stands up like Shadow Six does. In Little Nightmares 1, if you look around while Six is eating, you can see Shadow Six standing near her in a way very similar to how Six stood up in Little Nightmares 2. We know that from the secret ending Shadow Six stems from the signal tower, so it would make sense if she had the most control over Six in the signal tower, her true home. Kinda like how the signal tower has control of the Thin Man, Shadow Six has control over Six. Also, Six has proven to have a genuine bond with Six, because they both help each other throughout the game. What would she gain from dropping him? The definition of a shadow is: ''a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface.'' It is quite literaly the OPPOSITE of light being produced and INFLUENCED by light. So Shadow Six would be the opposite of Six in both personality and feelings. She wouldn't see Mono as a friend, but rather someone who gets in the way. So what's the opposite of helping someone up? dropping them dead. Don't make fun of me, and if someone actually read the whole thing, I am really surprised.

I hate myself for skipping this every time I saw it pop up in my recommended page, I ignored it for two years until I finally caved and listened to it. “Lady of the Maw reborn, tell us what you saw before the swarm, the horde.” That line gave me CHILLS

Thank you, the song is gorgeous, the vocals are 100000/10, the voice of the performers is 10000000/10. Everything is gorgeous.

Simply incredible drawings and music!!! It gave me a very strong vibe of Mono's suffering after he was betrayed by Six, very good!!! 👏👏👏

I Love this part!4:33 Because for me six will always be lady reborn as it is a symbolisim of past sins eating your soul. Mean while mono goes into the past as thinman. Revenge is endless. A true NIGHTMARE.

I’ve always loved that theory, it’s very poetic and meaningful. A lot of fans tho are really split on the matter of whether Six is “The Lady”... and some people hate it, but I still think it’s a cool idea

@@shaydilane2172 hups I meant lady NOT being her mother is ok but that other connection that their the same is too good there are so many moments where we gould see in to both past and future of six like the dolls, purple walls and lights, the eye symbols on the walls inside the maw wich lady wanted because of the drama inside the tower sense the eye monster didn't change her body but also mind, black hair, mono growing up in to a monster.

this person needs more subs, this is amazing, and maybe if they get more they'll make more content, yeah?

5:53 This picture feels like if some ancient civilization was exposed to Little Nightmares, and mades pictures and things like that, like how ancient civilizations did for their gods. This would be one of those things they made, except the god they were worshiping would be The Thin Man

Since you asked for theories of this game in the description. When six feels hunger she hums the song of the music box, it helps her calm down this points to the idea that sox hasn't gotten rid of her addiction to the music by simply getting rid off the music box, the music box has an eye on it, the music belongs to the flesh void so it had some kind of influence on her. Also the lady hums similar notes to six but slower

@@shaydilane2172 i noticed that you said something about making this song after being devastated by the ending and i concluded that best music is made with peak emotion. since, well music is tool to alter emotions if you think about it that way, but i like the small details like the voice breaking when you sing at the end about the word suffering, and at the beginning a clear pure music box but at the end its distorted and broken, i love those intricate details

Folks who notice the details like that really make me love coming back to this upload (something I do a little too often)! The distorted music box at the end was definitely meant as a parallel and I like how you put it. Also my voice tends to break a lot in all my songs, as I leave in unsavory takes out of either laziness or just “eh. It’s got character” lol

In my opinion Lady's melody sounds completely different to Six's theme. But monster Six's melody is the same, did you mean monster Six?

@@no-on5by I hear you there. They have a similar cadence and they both share three chords, but they certainly aren’t “the same”. Hence a lot of people’s problems with the theory. Still an interesting thought tho.

This made me cry- this song is beautiful and full of emotion.. so much e⁄m⁄o⁄t⁄i⁄o⁄n⁄s

Tobias Lilja went so hard on the soundtrack. The main theme of LN2 is just so hauntingly sad and foreboding... I knew it would be center stage in any sort of song I might make. I’m glad to know I did it even a scrap of justice! Thank you for your kind words 💚💚💙💙💜💜

THIS SONG IS AMAZING 4:02 has to be my fav part because of how amazing the rhyming is and how calm it is this easily is the best little nightmares song 1000/10

this song is deep, especially because I agree with the top comment. This is most likely from Mono's perspective. The lyrics relate to the loop, the betrayal, the nomes, the signal tower, the characters, (1, 2,3,4,5, and 6) the maw, and importantly of all, Six. The lyrics especially describe "loneliness" and how Six was Mono's only friend.

I have been listening to this for weeks, it's so stuck in my head! Everything is beautiful, the singing, the voice acting, the art... Lost in Transmission is one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack so I'm glad someone made a cover with lyrics for it. Keep up the great work :)

I don't know how or why but this just suits Little Nightmares better than any other Songs I've heard the start "Endlessly endlessly" hits like a door getting kicked down and then there is a growing feeling of fear and despair through out the song in your voice and lyrics the art style in the back ground is just the cherry on top.
