Sandler is able to get a lot of top tier actors for his movies because he is the nicest, most chill film-maker in Hollywood. Apparently, making a movie with him is more like a vacation from Hollywood than making the usual movie.

This is probably Adam Sandlers' most well written comedy. So many clever scenes in this movie and great characters. I loved John Witherspoon in this movie. He's so hilarious. This also has to have the best Quentin Tarantino cameo ever. This is one of those comedies that you don't forget with so many memorable scenes and great storytelling.

The reason you recognize so many people from Grandma's Boy is because they are Sandler's friends, they are background and side characters in nearly all of his comedies. It's been forever since I've seen this movie, but I definitely remember hearing Points of Authority in it. That was actually really cool to hear at that time, because it was right before Linkin Park got big (Crawling and One Step Closer were singles, but In The End hadn't released as one, yet). I can never remember the actor's name, but he appears in quite a few Adam Sandler movies as well... he played Harry the Hardware Store Guy on Home Improvement, he was the straw hat gibberish guy in The Waterboy, he was the girl's dad in 50 First Dates, and the goat demon questgiver in Little Nicky. Actually, I'm going to look this up real quick... Blake Clark. Weird that "Harry the Hardware Store Guy" was the character's name, Farmer Fran in Waterboy, Marlin Whitmore in 50 First Dates, Jimmy the Demon in Little Nicky. He also appears in Mr. Deeds, Grown Ups, and has a voice role in 8 Crazy Nights. It's hilarious that Adam Sandler's movies all have recurring actors almost like Easter Eggs. YOU CAN DO IT!

You may've noticed by now but Adam Sandler likes to put a lot of his friends in his movies. The original ones I followed for a long time (I grew up on Sandler films) are Allen Covert, Peter Dante, and Jonathan Loughran. Allen Covert being the balding Grandma's Boy guy, and the other two being the Nicky worshipers in this movie but if you look closely they're in all sorts of his other movies. The Grandma's Boy guy was also the caddie in Happy Gilmore, Jonathan Loughran was the transexual man on the beach in 50 First Dates that had to tinkle, Peter Dante was one of the receptionists/guards at the medical center in that movie as well as Dante in Grandma's Boy or one of the football players in Water Boy. They became like the Wilhelm Scream of Adam Sandler movies and you just had to wait to see where they'd pop up. Of course there are a lot of people that keep popping up in each others movies now. Kevin Nealon, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Blake Clark, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, etc, etc, etc.

One of my all time favorites. Comedy is supposed to be weird and surreal, and this delivers on all fronts. The film bombed because critics roasted Sandler for "doing another voice" after Waterboy. Saw it twice in theater and everyone loved it except for one crazy lady who dragged her kid out when Tithead appeared. (Which I've heard was a direct parody of Pinhead if you're looking for meaning behind that one)

I've watched a ton of reaction channels in my day and when they do a bunch of adam sandler they never do Little Nicky. So glad you guys did. Happy Gilmore and Waterboy were my favorite of his til this came out when I was in middle school or so. A huge cast and group of cameos along with a pretty solid plot and such. I didn't even realize that was Quentin Tarantino as the blind preacher guy til just now for example lmfao. But to be fair I haven't seen this in like 10 years either.

Van Wilder starring Ryan Reynolds is a hysterical movie and I really recommend it. The movie is actually based off a real person, who was voted the number one partyer out of all the top party colleges in the U.S .

The guys you mentioned from Grandma's boy are Adam's guys, they appear in several of his films as well as SNL alum. Sandler's production company is called Happy Madison, it's obviously a combo of Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. You have to watch more Sandler films and add Blades of Glory (not Sandler)

This is my next favorite Adam Sandler movie, after my tied top two Happy Gilmore and The Water Boy. A lot of people don't seem to like this movie much, but I always loved it. Glad you guys enjoyed it, I enjoyed the reaction. Haven't seen this one in a few years so it was good to watch it again with you, even if it was an abridged watching.
