Jesy is the one missing. Ok so Leigh Anne (the one who sang second, the one in the left), the first time she sang that was Jesy’s first part so Leigh covered that one. The other part was actually when you asked. Jade (the one who sang first, the one in the right) covered it, the bridge that ends in a high note, that whole part is Jesy’s as well. I missed Jesy so much but the girls still were AMAZING

They didn't clap after the long note from Perrie because it is fake clapping. Covid restrictions means there was hardly anybody there except the crew so I think it's all added in after.

Wow!

Jade is purposely singing softly because it’s the style of the song. I think she’s also amazing at it. She’s so soft and pure. But OMG when she sings louder (I’m not sure what the proper term is) she sounds INCREDIBLE. If you listen to some of their other acoustic or live performances you’ll defiantly see this side to her more. Perrie is normally the one who takes on the belts (nothing against her at all, I adore Perrie and her voice) but it means we have to catch snippets of Jades voice in the background or whatever.

perrie’s voice calms me down… if that makes sense. it’s so satisfying.

I love people reacting to little mix more because they deserve the recognition... however please learn their names! Rude to remember one and call the others the first singer or second singer.

That brunette first singer is Jade Amelia Thirlwall. She's the third oldest member. Jade has the most versatile vocals in the group. She has the widest vocal range among the 4. That black-haired second singer is Leigh-Anne Pinnock. She's the second oldest member. She has the most angelic voice in the group & can hit high notes. She can sing both in low & high register. She's the rapper of the group. That blonde third singer is Perrie Louise Edwards. She's the youngest of the 4. She has the most powerful voice in the group. She has the best technique when it comes to singing. The missing one is Jessica (Jesy) Louise Nelson. She's the oldest member. She has a chocolate-galaxy-type of voice & has a great vibrato. They never clap after Perrie does that know, there's performances such as the Capital Jingle Bell Ball to hold it even longer.... And no one ever claps when she does it They just maybe occasionally give a little scream or shout but everybody usually waits to apply it until the very end of that song That's one of their biggest songs that they do live very audience oriented as well.... And it is become an LGBTQ anthem and is dedicated to them every time they sing it in their live shows

18/18 times I’ve seen them live ppl have clapped perries high note, Jesy’s too.

Hey I just wanted to say that actually Jade, the first one singing, usually sings higher than this, this is one of the very few songs where she sings only low parts, in most of the other songs her actual voice can be heard a lot more. The one that usually does the very low parts is Jesy who is the one missing in this video and that sometimes sings some very powerful high notes as well!

Hi Jacob you reacted to so many LM songs by now it would be helpful to know their names and recognize their faces. Maybe watch more live performances like this one. I know you wanted to hear Jades vocals more and you think the mixing is at fault. But I heard lots of their live performances of this song and Jade is purposely controlling her voice to be soft at the beginning of the song. As you could hear when she hit the high note later, Jade can easily sing louder but she is purposely singing lighter as her interpretation. For comparison, please check out their 2018 jingle ball live performance, which also includes the missing 4th member Jesy and you can figure out the parts she sang and her vocals (including the high note Jade sang).

It's funny you mentioned the Spanish singing... You definitely need to check out "Reggaeton Lento"... They did it with the Spanish boy band CNCO It's originally their song but they added little mix on it as a remix with their vocals It's pretty damn good!!! There's the video version and then there's a live version that they did with CNCO on X Factor actually the one that's on X Factor is it mashup of "Power" and that song! You should definitely give that one a go!

I have so many musician fiends and they can never go to a club or concert without commenting on the surround system 👏🏾😂they just have different ears . 👏🏾props to you guys Same with film people they can’t just watch the film.

After jade is jesy but leigh sang her part and the end jade sang jesy's part before leigh and Perrie's last verses.

Perrie is the power vocalist in the group she can hit any note effortlessly. She was always the best singer but tbf the other girls have improved immensely & are now almost on her level. They balance each other out really well.

In regards to the mixing I'd say the ladies like the proper emotion of the lyric to be conveyed through the vocals and instrumental in unison to capture the mood of each vocalist role. So with Jade she's using a lot of her soft airy angelic part of her voice to start the story of a Secret love song and when you marriage it with the lyrical content you get to know why. As the song goes on the tones get warmer, stronger and more prominent until the 2nd to last half chorus where it's almost a capella then builds to a grand finish. In short it's intentionally done lol. Great review by the way. Like how you include percussion/production things your ears catch.

@@JacobRestituto oh I get it, I think a lot of people are like that. I think there's just that disconnect with their individual capabilities or vocal attributes when they are labelled as extras. Not that you do, necessarily. But, for example with you, appreciating Perries vocal power is easier for you to convey than thinking 'that one in the corner is doing well'. Your reactions are quite insightful and unique. I just think you'd get more from the experience by figuring out which ones which, to kind of help understand why or how they're arranged in harmonies and small stuff like that.

The “audience” didn’t applause the last note as there wasn’t an audience there due to covid, so I think the audience noise was edited in. Kind of a good thing as I think the audience would be losing it throughout the performance and Little Mix tend to get emotional performing this song on tour. Definitely the best performance of theirs vocally as it’s just focused on the vocals being a strong power ballad. Their vocals are strong anyway, but on ballads they just come through a lot more, especially this song.

I'm pretty sure the audience was at a distance to not interfere with the girls' mics and had separate mics set up where they were sitting. They probably unmuted (or added in post) the audience mics at the desired, perfect time because a little mix crowd cannot be quiet for that long.

It’s so funny that you said you were curious to know which one sang Jesy’s part, bc the one who was singing was currently singing her part. 😂

what are you on about with the mixing? the voice mixing was perfect! The beginning of the song starts slow and soft and Jade's voice is perfect for that verse. As for wanting to hear more vocals I highly doubt you'll find more vocals by any other artists today than you saw in this performance lol. This is a singers ballad and they smashed it. I find your critique way off.

Everyone in the audience were mixers who know that right after that huge note from Perrie she does that last quieter bit which is usually really pretty so that might be why they waited until after to cheer/clap.
