Little known mountains and forests | Wild Carpathia 1/4 | Go Wild
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Charlie Ottley ventures deep into the breath-taking but little known mountains and forests of the Carpathians. Home to bears, wolves and the elusive Lynx and little known to the rest of the world, this is perhaps the last great wilderness in Europe. Wild Carpathia provides a unique insight into the beauty and rich culture of the region exploring its chequered history from the mystical ruins of the ancient Dacian civilisations to its medieval Saxon communities. However this stunning landscape is under threat as the forests are cut down at en ever increasing rate.
In his quest to find remote villages, cross mountains and spot bears in the wild, presenter Charlie Ottley meets a dedicated group of individuals whose passion for this area is helping to redefine its importance as one of the great surviving wonders of the natural world.
These include a Transylvanian Count, who is working to conserve some of the most ancient of Carpathia's medieval villages and HRH The Prince of Wales, who can trace his ancestry back to Romania's dark and distant past..

He doesn't actually think she goes down in the middle of the night if she is thirsty to get a GLASS of water, does he ??? 🙄 holy shit, he's a bright one
Hes related to vlad the pegger? It all makes sense now.
Wow prince Charles himself
It's weird that progressives are destroying this way of life. Sad. I grew up on a small family farm. Garden. Fruit trees etc.

I hear you. It’s a weird thing.
I have dream’t of visiting this beautiful uncorrupted idyll, maybe one day when I’m retired ❤️HRH is right and he has been speaking out about nature conservation and environmental impact long before it was fashionable, if we cannot save something like the Carpathian model of living, I feel that humanity as a whole will move closer to its own demise along with the whole system of animals and insects destroyed as collateral damage, I hope this is not the case.
