Little Known Las Vegas Neighbor - Blue Diamond, NV & Red Rock Canyon

The tiny town of Blue Diamond, Nevada started out as a gypsum mining company town, but today is a quaint, warm, welcoming community that stands at the entrance (or exit depending which way you're traveling) to the Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas. In this video, we also visit the Spring Mountain Ranch State Park and see what it has to offer, including famous previous owners and some stunning scenery.

    Great job covering this town. I live in Henderson, NV and just heard about this yesterday. So you're right...probably alot of locals don't know about this place.

    I lived in Las Vegas for 21 years and I drove by and through Blue Diamond many times. I wanted to live there but to rich for me.

    I read there was a mysterious disappearance of miners in 1943. They're zoning that residential now?
