I bought long clips that can hold hair but works for holding papers, including shorter paper and they work well. Also I made a baby book junk journal for a baby shower. It was also a golden book and colourful so I used 3 different colours of binding, orange, yellow and red. My golden book was a Winnie the Pooh. Looked great.

Oh id love to see their face when they open it! This is lovely and is a beautiful keepsake. My crafting disaster must be a craft knife and hot glue gun incidents. I did losemy balance once and fell into a craft storage container, i came a cracker and had s black bruise right up my arm.

Great video. My worst crafting injury was a few months ago when I (stupidly) was using a craft knife to scrape dried glue off something and stabbed myself….. had to pinch the cut closed and used wound closure strips. I think the bruise from the stab was worse than the cut

I punctured in between my wedding finger and middle with a very pointed pair of tweezers. I did it about a year ago and it’s still not healed properly. I find it opens up after drying between my fingers and I have to take my rings off for a couple of weeks until it heals and then it happens all over again.

Any tips for keeping the signatures nice and tight? Mine keep loosening.

Signatures are the little collections of folded papers that are each sew in to the journals.

Love! Why didn't you just take the fabric and ribbon front to back and then you wouldn't have had to deal with the paper bumps...I loath paper bumps 😁

The book is cute but being new at this and seeing it listed as a tutorial I noticed you didn’t shoe all your steps. It would have been nice if you went slower and taught what you were doing and shown how and where you put the Pom Pom lace in.

Is a “signature” a piece of paper or a page? Why do u call them “signatures”? In the US a signature is your name is cursive

It's also the word for the papers inside a journal like this. If you google the meaning in terms of a book/journal, here's the explanation: Signatures are also called sections in bookbinding circles. They are a collection of paper that are stacked and then folded in half to form what looks like a book. These signatures are then bound into a cover to form your book. Signatures can be made up of any type of paper you want and any size you want.

I was demoing a sewing machine and the needle went into my finger...She bought the machine...lol
