"Little Girls" - A Mad Hatter Tribute
Ойын-сауық
I've always envisioned Jervis Tetch as a pedophile (Morrison's Arkham Asylum, anyone?) and Oingo Boingo's "Little Girls" seemed to perfectly sum up my thoughts on the character.
Also, The Mad Hatter is one of my favorite Batman villains.
In this montage I used footage from the 90's animated Batman series (every episode possible except for "Trial"), the 60's live-action Batman series (short clips from all four Mad Hatter episodes), a brief clip from the Batman/Superman Hour (1968), and of course, there's various comic book art and a few action figures.

This song is so perfect for the Mad Hatter not just because of his obsession with Alice (actually when did that start? In the 60's he was all about the hats), but also because Lewis Carrol - AKA the Reverend Dodgeson was... distinctly odd with kids. I don't want to say he was a nonce, but if you look into his life it's hard not to draw that conclusion, to be honest. His relationship with the real Alice Liddel was a wee bit fishy, to be honest.
Oh! And I also like how the reporter nods his head. It's like he's agreeing with Jervis. "Ohhhh yeaaaah, I like little girls too." XD
I like how the Mad Hatter and Scarecrow were paired in the Long Halloween. That would have neat if they would have done that in the Animated Series or movies.
That's one of my favorite episodes, I can't remember its exact name, but it has something to do with dreams... like "Perchance to Dream" or "Dream a Little Dream" or something like that. The speech Hatter gives to Batman at the very end is really moving to me
Mad Hatter is appareantly the most brilliant of the batman villains,
The Mad Hatter Rocks!!!!
Aw, man, I always loved that Alice from Batman the Animated series. My perfect girl! Ha, poor hatter, she was engaged in that one, just like every Alice-esque girl I meet! Chris Nolan should get Paul Giamatti to play Hatter!
Why am I not in the least surprised by this? Thanks a bunch.
This is great. I also can see him like that.
I hate you and love you for making this video all at the same time D:
this is great. extremely creepy when you sit and think about it, but still great.
I like Mad Hatter, he's such an interesting villain. Too bad they never re-designed him for "The Batman" serie. I would've liked to see him in that japanese-anime-like style... Nice tribute, btw, the song really fit him! XD
The REAL disturbance was the fact that the advertisment for "Mad Hatter's Plumbing" came up on the video... D:
Very, very good video!Mad Hatter is one of the best of Batman's villains!!!The music fits to him too!
Agreed. You ever notice how he goes from being the second-tallest villain (after Bane) to being about the same height as Robin after the art shift?
OMG LOL I'm so glad I'm not the only person who thought of this song.
i love this song!
song is so weird and its not my kind of music but yet for some reson i love this video XD
I love mad hatter and this song is catchy but, it sounds a bit wrong too. 😂
Well... The point I'm trying to make is... The guy isn't exactly mentally stable and I sincerely doubt a hug is going to give him any sort of joy, let alone fix his issues.
also pictured someone with the same build and facial features as tom petty as the mad hatter.
Perfect now that Danny Elfman's doing the music for the Tim Burton Alice movie! I've always loved the song and I love the Mad Hatter espeically the one played by Roddy McDowall
Haha, I love this video XDD Hey, today is 10/6! (Geddit, 'in this style...'?) lol
The Mad Hatter is better having an obsession with women who look like Alice like in BTAS rather than being...like he is in the comics... or the games...imo...
@IllyaItaCarole That would be "Mad as a Hatter" :)
omg! I looove this music video!! haha :D soooo cute!!
oh, and little girls. ;]
I disliked the redesigning of the Mad Hatter in BTAS: he somehow (for me) lost his charm and his 'sweetness': I do like him in AC though...mad man BUT under the influence of Strange: I would love for RockSteady to have him gain his senses again and team up with Scarecrow: two maniacs who mess with the mind: one of fear and one of control: can Batman defeat them?
Notive exposed song
I didn't know he was ever on the Adam West show
Pure evil win.
Omg, same thoughs on the character...well, the comic version anyway.
i think jim carrey would mark a good Mad Hatter in the next batman movie what do you think?
LOL! At 2:36 when he removes the hair, the fake hair and his real hair exchange colors! Oops! XD
Phillip Seymor Hoffmann as Mad Hatter would be nice.
let's hear it for live action hatter
see i never pictured him as a pedophile, however i always pictured him as a serial rapist.
Hello, mister !
he can brainwash people
but joker still the best........ and the craziest
Ok, I had thought I had went through every episode of Batman the Animated Series, but I cannot for the life of me remember the Mad Hatter back story episode. Does anyone know what that one was called?

Mad as a hatter. That’s the episode name
me too
Pov: Notive
i havnt watch the batman tas who is he and why is he purving on that young girl
Why, is your name Alice? ...Didn't think so.
1:10 batty looks like a male human virstion of durpy in a suit
I can see how Marvel and other-comic-company-I-can't-remember-right-now would be cool, but I always just get really creeped out by them since I was a kid. Just... oooouuugh. I thought Spiderman, Thor, and Ironman were pretty neat, everything else like the Green Lantern and Batman is too eerie for me xD I can deal with gore and all that, it's just something about them that's like the same thing with puppets and clowns!
what kind of story do the new batman movies would do to make a scientific believe himself that his a fairitale character???
Yeah, that really bothered me. I mean, it's just... Annoying. His first design looked so much cooler... I guess they were trying to make him a bit more similar to the actual Hatter from Alice in Wonderland...
XD !! ^^'
I don't see him a pedophile I find him against it strongly like other people are and will shoot them down if he met or saw one and to say he's not a pedophile but I respect ur opinion

Right because Alice is 20 something and he's 20-something so why they call him a pedo?
@mundeejarate

@@paulabarnes233 a lot of people think he's a pedophile or that the creator of Alice in wonderland was a pedophile when he wasn't

@@mundeejarate well back in those days the legal age of consent I think was around like 12 years old or a little older but yeah his obsession with Alice was kind of creepy but I'm talking about in the cartoon Batman Mad Hatter and Alice Alice is like about 20 something and he is twenty something im talking about in the cartoon in Batman he's not a pedophile
@mundeejarate

@@paulabarnes233 yea which stupid people still think the only things he done wrong were kidnapping manipulation, causing 2 men to attempt suicide from those cards he put on their ears, forcing Alice to be with her and hypnotizing her and many others, and not loving her but obsessed with her because she's like his obsession of Alice from wonderland, plus stopping and ruining their wedding so he could be with Alice, totally messed up.
this is no just no
apart from that great song
Honestly, I don't agree with the assessment of him as a Pedophile and think Kevin Smith was off on that. He seems more fixated on women in general.
