@Sir Smesh A Lot Yes. I am/ we are I am from NSW originally. Farmer's daughter I moved to S.A 10yrs ago. I worked hard . Have got the contract on my home and 1/2 acre.. Moving back to NSW on the 26th of June. Time to catch up with family I have not seen for a long time. And the beaches are better for swimming there. Your not at the bottom of Australia. Northern Territory and Western Australia are the only 2 states I have not had the chance to go to yet..

Yes I do I went 15 years without seeing clearly and at one time in my life I had tunnel vision I could see in front of me but not beside me. And on the 700 club it says someone’s blind eyes are being opened I went to the doctor and got tested my vision had returned the eye doctor of course

She went and verified everything and everyone she’s ever interacted with. Impeccable

I remember that is how my cousin explained it to me. He actually didn't get glasses till he was around 7 and he just assumed everyone else was seeing the same blurry mess as him when looking at things far away.

That mixture of awe, love and pure joy is just immeasurable! She is an absolute beauty ❤

This happened to my 4-year-old when he was one and a half. The realization of a whole new world. 😮 He had a inner ear infection that was hidden, the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. At first, they thought that maybe he was autistic. He wouldn't respond to any noises or to us speaking his name. We eventually went to an ENT and they confirmed that they needed to do emergency surgery before he would be permanently deaf. Once the tubes went in and the ears released themselves, It literally was a new world to him because he could hear so many different sounds.... He was surprisingly amazed of all the new noises he could hear for the first time. It was an exciting moment for all of us, especially him!!! He missed out on a lot as a baby and going into the young stages of a toddler. Not being able to hear anything that didn't sound like he was underwater.🎉🎉🎉😊 Was torture for Mom and Dad. So happy to see that this little one could finally see the world around her!❤

I had the same reaction when I saw trees for the first time through my glasses. I was surprised at the leaves! There were so many and so little. I could know people by their faces and not their voices.

I loved getting a new prescription, the world is so clear! I don’t understand people who choose NOT to wear their glasses, especially at work where seeing is really important. Though it could explain the extensive amount of content that Wham Bam Dashcam gets.

A whole new world just opened up for her!

I remember when I received my first set of glasses. I was 6 years old and I was like her, mouth dropped open and telling mom what I was seeing. Trees weren't just blobs of green, they had individual leaves or little limbs of green spikes like a bottle brush (Douglas fir aka Christmas trees). My whole world opened up to be a magical place. Mom said she never had a problem with me not wearing them, if anything I was hard to console if they became bent and places were closed until Monday.

Yes! Those individual leaves, that’s so amazing I can still remember that moment of discovery. 45 years ago. I was told just to wear them in school. Within two weeks I was wearing them all the time.

Me too!!! I got mine when I was 8 years old. They were little blue “cat’s eye” frames 👓 I couldn’t believe what everything looked!! Everything was so crisp, instead of blurry blobs. I think 🤔 that was 1967🤣

The joy of a little girl or boy is a divine gift.

Life is beautiful because of this little girl.

This was me at age 2 in 1971. I was severely far-sighted, so the glasses back then were real glass- not plastic- and thick. Yes, I was coke- bottle bottom girl!😂 But they let me see the leaves on the trees. Still wear glasses, and thank God their thin and come in more colors than brown, black, or white!😂😂😂 Edit: These glasses look good on her! They are making advances in optomology every day, she will see a lot of changes😊

When I see these tiny children get their first corrective lenses I am thrilled for them. Most people are visual learners and this will be magical for her. Thank you to all the bright, creative souls who work hard to improve our lives. You are a true blessing. My vision was bad for a long time. It wasn't noticeable until I was about seven years old. When I was about forty, I had lasik surgery. Though there wasn't enough tissue to completely correct my vision, it was absolutely amazing to me. So much joy and happiness filled my heart that, after the first eye was done, I had to repeat, to myself, "don't cry, don't cry, don't cry!" When I walked out into the waiting room afterwards, my mother, who was playing chauffeur, took my hand to lead me because I didn't have on any glasses. "Mother, I can see! I can see!" Thirty years later, it can still bring tears to my eyes.

Her reaction was priceless. I can only imagine how happy her parents felt to watch their daughter actually see clearly. It's worth everything. I was 18 before I knew how bad my vision was. I would just squint all of the time but eventually I needed a cornea transplant and I still have to wear hard contacts. So happy for this beautiful family
