Simple answer is just return the railway to as it was. These “private” companies don’t buy any of the trains at all and get massive handouts from government. It costs at least 10 times as much to have a private railway than a return to BR! Not rocket science is it?

Find it funny how when companies own multiple operators, only one of them seems to get a better level of attention. Arriva Train Wales & Great Western Railway for example.

I’d take Intercity and Virgin Cross Country’s Loco Hauled Stock and HST’s any day. The voyagers are decent, but I like them old time Loco hauled!

Well actually… there might be a bit of hope. During COVID the government practically started contracting the train companies so they would keep running. They are really considering making “great British railways” a thing

Like the video aswell as the music but you might wanna do some tweaking on the editing table but all and all great idea and great choice in music.

Q: Why are you using a remix of Little Dark Age A: Copyright, if I used the original LDA, I would have this video taken down, which is why I used a remix instead. Q: Do you plan on doing more things like this? A: Most likely never, I focus on aviation now, and I'm more likely to make Aviation Videos that won't involve the use of Little Dark Age.

If I'm going to be honest, the Virgin HSTs were less than reliable 🥴 But I would rather have that than a Class 170 working long services

Here in Poland, our express train company (PKP InterCity) is also kind of falling behind. The trains they use nowadays are 🤮. I'd rather see a PKP Class SU46 pull an express than some new crap. Miss the old times...

We 1000% need Virgin back. Please for the love of god Branson, Come back to British Rail.

If we had virgin cross-country incl HSTS I would only have to travel to Southampton instead of Plymouth to get on a HST (for reference, I love in Portsmouth)

why do little dark age edits use progressively worse sounding versions of the song? i've seen some edits using the original song in its original form and they are by far the best and most impactful

To cut it short, UMG are copyrighting anyone who uses the original Little Dark Age song and taking the videos down, not sure how they can keep getting away with it, but it's disgusting behaviour, people should be allowed to use others music, aslong as they dont profit. If UMG wasn't like this, I'd have used the original.
