Little City of Rocks - Geological Adventure | Gooding, Idaho
Located in Gooding, Idaho - Little City of Rocks is drastically different from "City of Rocks National Reserve" on the border with Utah. This incredible volcanic landscape contains a high concentration of unique formations, as well as towering monoliths throughout this region of the state. I have never experienced a landscape quite like this portion of the United States. The park is free to enter and you will find over 6 miles of trails within Little City of Rocks to explore.

You have to drive 13 miles north of Gooding on Route 46. There will be a dirt road to your left after driving for 13 miles. Continue on that dirt road until you reach the main parking lot for Little City of Rocks. I hope this helps! Enjoy your time in Idaho it’s on of my favorite states.

@@lkarloff Thank you can I drive this road with a rent a car also do you remember the mile marker ? oh one more thing any slot canyons in the area im going in 2 weeks Thank You also what does the road to tee pee rock look like I have no cell looks like you could get lost no sighns again THANK U

@@Joe-ng5ez Yes I drove on this road with a small rental car just fine, you just have to avoid small bumps and potholes. I’m sorry I can’t remember which mile marker but if you plug in the directions on Google Maps it will take you there. There’s a 3 mile slot canyon trail there from the parking lot. Most of the cool formations are within the first mile and a half. I have not been to teepee rocks yet. Good luck and have fun!

@@lkarloff A SLOT CANYON OHHHH WOW ok ok deep breathe so its 13 miles from Gooding now I wont have no computer with me or cell service do you remember any land marks on this left turn ALSO how far in is the parking lot and last were is the Trail Head to the Slot THANK YOU
