Little Chena Fun Run, Grumman Sport Boat, Swamp Runner Mudmotor pt1

Ойын-сауық

This is just me and my son tooling around, having fun in the boat. We went over a few logs and snags, but nothing special. We motored, floated, paddled, got a few grayling to bump but nothing stuck. This video is a little long, some may consider it boring. This motor makes it almost so easy that is it is almost boring, almost. But I had a great time out there just tooling around.
Be safe out there!

On balast in the bow, I usually just grab a couple rocks from along the shore and that levels it out pretty good and when I'm done and headin' out, I just toss the rocks off by the boat ramp!

Rarely is the boat that empty, I usually throw gas or gear up there. The kid is big enough now he'd probably be just the right ballast!

I did. Hunting up there could be lots of fun in a small boat.

I see you upgraded motors. Does the 301 push your boat any easier with a load in it? I just mounted my medium Swamp Runner/420cc on my 16x48 mod-v, get to test it out this weekend finally. Keep the videos coming!

I haven't gotten a good load in it yet! I'm hoping to soon though. It's a little heavier than the 212, and with the light loads I've had in it there's no real point in taking it past 3/4 throttle, just noisier, uses more gas, with no real gains. I can only assume, and will find out for sure, that the last quarter of throttle will shine when I load the boat heavy with a harvest.
