This young man is more mature then boys 3 times his age! They are nice and well mannered because ballet requires self-discipline. Children are not too young to learn self-discipline, in fact childhood is the best time to learn it.

I agree 100%. I have always been surprised at how poorly prepared for marriage people are these days. By the time I was five, I was already learning little things here and there so that when I was a grown-up, I could have a good, loving, life-long marriage.

@Joyful n Blessed I think a lot of the time there is little modelling done by father figures. Men should be encouraged to nurture as they are actually pretty good at it!

Agreed! I always say, raising a child is like a bank account; you can only get out what you put in! If you put the time and effort into raising a mannerly child, that's what you'll get. Put no time and effort in, that what you'll get!

@@winsboy I disagree. I've met a lot of adult boys. To be considered a true man requires maturity. So I used "boy" purposely.

I'm glad he mentioned their manners. I have visited the States numerous times and one thing I noticed is that I rarely heard American children actually say please or thank you. There are one of two whose parents have a youtube channel and I have never heard the children say please or thank you and they come across as really spoilt kids. These two were a revelation.

Wow!! This was already amazing, but to use Pentatonix's Grammy-winning cover of "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy" for their music just made this performance perfection! Pentatonix is an A capella group, so that was done with just 5 voices - no instruments! Unbelievable!!!

See people you can raise Lady and a Gentleman. I so believe that if schools taught how to be a lady or gentleman kids would be so much better. You cannot expect a child to be a lady or gentleman if they don't know. Also the parents needs to start teaching kids how to act.

So I would like to know: why is figure skating a "sport," and ballet not? I'm betting both are equally strenuous and work the same muscle groups. And yet ballet dancers don't get Olympic medals, worldwide acclaim and commercial endorsements. Sad.... 😒

Very easy. Ballet is an art. There are ballet competitions but generally you do not have to include specific techniques. By the way figure skating is losing its artistic side buy the new rules giving priority two jumps only.

I would take issue with the statement in the description that the kids have “mastered” ballet....they absolutely have NOT mastered it, and have many years of practice to get accepted to a top ballet company. I’d say a top ballet school, but by now they’re past that, age wise.
