Lithophone 1 Sanj Hall plays the gong rocks

Музыка

It is believed that the first sounds and gongs originated from rocks. These rocks then gave their metals to make a new gene of metal or bronze gongs. However, the rocks were played as gongs from historic days of stone age. This video is part of the documentary being done on this subject.

Probably doesn’t need the reverb that makes it sound like it’s in a hall, when it clearly isn’t.

It probably would be pretty reverberent anyway, since they are surrounded by rocks. Think Red Rock Canyon and whatnot. Those types of music venues are placed in areas surrounded by rocks for their natural reverb.

@@deanroddey2881 There is some natural reverb to them, but not that powerfully. There are some videos of Singing Rocks without added reverb. I was actually hoping to compare it to Singing Rocks, which is why I was hoping for unedited.

Nah thats just an overall freeze in the whole frame. Dunno what caused it, but all the movement on screen stutters there. Also rock gongs are very much real with a lot of archeological explenation and research behind. There are some more neat videos to find on them.
