Wow! I can’t believe my eyes. I have litespeed installed for a long while and was sad why it wasn’t helping not knowing that I didn’t know how to configure it. I was concerned about my pagespeed performance and I checked KZread for litespeed configuration tutorial and your video came up. You took your time and I followed step by step. My website did not break, every thing works well and amazingly my pagespeed performance jumped from 55 to 95 instantly. You are amazing and a godsend. This is super helpful, thank you Matt. I'm with Hostinger and your tutorial is sooooo much better than theirs, seriously. I couldn't get my comments to load with ESI turned on and I had to turn off CSS combine again but apart from that, your instructions got my speed up to 99 on mobile, and I didn't even have to turn on the CDN, wow! Thanks!

Followed your video to a T on my Elementor build website and now I have on Pagspeed Insights 99 and 99! GTmetrix 100. 94 on Pingdom. Note, that I did have an issue with my Google Maps drop-down list not showing up but lowered the preset to the basic setting (read that somewhere), and now it works. Still have 99 100 scores! Also, I was using Nitropack beforehand, and it was giving me issues but this plugin replacement is looking good! Thanks, Doctor Matt!

Very well presented. I haven't tried exactly your settings as I've given up. I've even tried the webhost's (Fastcomet) own recommended settings (on a Litespeed server), but my PageSpeed tests are horrible. Everything with QUIC CDN is setup properly too. Even tried disabling all Divi performance features and enabled one by one, no big change. Once I go back to WP Rocket, the speed dramatically increases. Anyway, great video; this is how it should be presented!

Okay so I've followed your setup exactly, now I'm getting 100 for mobile, and 99 for desktop on Google PageSpeed. Very impressive! However, there's a flash of text only, a small delay before graphics/images are rendered. I'm guessing this is CSS optimisation. I'll play around with it. Well done Matt!@@WPressDoctor

Hi, depending on your settings, pages only get cached if they are hit by the customer the first time. With the crawler you make sure that all pages are cached - its kind of preloading like in wp rocket - at least thats what i thought

Hi Stugots! Sorry for my late reply, KZread had flagged your comment as 'held for review' because of the IP address inside of it I think. So you can only find this memcached host IP address with your hosting company. Guessing it will not work, it has to exact fit 😀

Awesome tutorial! I had wprocket installed, and bearly went to 70, saw a collegue had instaled this plugin, but everywhere online it said wprocket is better. Not true. This plugin and with your settings/help I went to 91. Thanks a lot! God bless you!

Wel you could try to turn of JavaScript Minification, see if that works!

@@WPressDoctor Thanks for your answer! Sadly it didn't. I tried everything I could find online. It either cancels the menu and goes to 91-94, or it stays at 70 and works ok.

Hi, Thanks for the video. I followed the steps and as a result the performance on PageSpeed Insights for desktop improved from 79 to 95 but for mobile it reduced to 84 from 92. What could be the reason for this? What other changes should I make to improve mobile performance as well?

Hi Vibhuti! Thats a great question and unfortunately impossible to answer without seeing your website and fiddling around on the backend with LiteSpeed. You should go into Page Speed Insights and scroll down on your mobile scores. There you can see what could be improved 💡 Then try to improve that 😀

thank you Math! i am having shared host and they told me that i can not integrate litespeed with memcache only if i use W3 Total what do you advise? i already configure all LiteSpeed like you showed in this video

Hi again! Wall that’s a tough one. You can disable one and try W3 total cache, but I am not a fan of W3 Total cache. Better Litespeed is my guess, but it totally depends on hosting configuration.

Hi there! Well I think that could be caused because of bad hosting or maybe you have way to much plugins active on your website... Can you tell me what theme you are using and how many plugins you have active?

Hi Gellaa, thanks for your kind words. You are very welcome! Yeah so that number is the one you get from your host. If the test is not available it probrably is a different number. Ask you host for the right IP adress for this 😁

I noticed that my header menu on my website is acting funky when logged out of my website, I'm thinking this is because of litespeed. I tried clearing the cache and turning CSS combine external ad incline to off but still having the issue. Any suggestions?@@WPressDoctor

Amazing and very detailed video!!! Just one question. At 7:31 cache - object - host where do I find the IP I should put? The IPv4 address IP inside the plesk doesn't passed the connection test.

Hi there! Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it. Well the Memcached IP address can only be found inside of your hosting company. SO you can ask them if they have it. If not, there is no Memached suported by your hosting company 😉

I made all the settings you suggested in the video. If I can't find the ip address of mempsapsied is it a problem or should I just leave it as it is and everything is fine? 2. My site health shows a critical issue. I'm copying and pasting it so you can see it as it is: - Page cache is not detected and the server response time is slow Page cache enhances the speed and performance of your site by saving and serving static pages instead of calling for a page every time a user visits. Page cache is detected by looking for an active page cache plugin as well as making three requests to the homepage and looking for one or more of the following HTTP client caching response headers: cache-control, expires, age, last-modified, etag, x-cache-enabled, x-cache-disabled, x-srcache-store-status, x-srcache-fetch-status, x-litespeed-cache, x-lsadc-cache, x-qc-cache. Median server response time was 693 milliseconds. It should be less than the recommended 600 milliseconds threshold. No client caching response headers were detected. A page cache plugin was not detected. And one more as preferred improvements: - A scheduled event is late The scheduled event, jetpack_sync_cron, is late to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended. It showed me since I uninstalled W3 Total Cache because it was giving me other problems on the site. How can I fix it? Anyway, informatively, the site seems to be running smoothly and fast.

Thanks again for your question. 1) yes just leave it, everything is fine 😀👍🏻 2) there seems to be some left overs from W3 total cache. You could try to install that one again and turn of every single setting before deleting the plugin again. That might do the trick!

Hi Daniel! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it! That is a difficult question as the one might be better than the other in your specific case. It’s actually a trial and error case because your theme, hosting company and plugins might prefer one or the other. If you have good results with CloudFlare, just stick to that, else you could try to switch!

Ah ok! Well I personally think Solid Security is better because of the nice interface, hide backend feature and now also the site scan. Also it does not pushes so much ads in your face 😀👍🏻

Thank you Matt for the video. I just installed and set up the LiteSpeed but after I wanted to check the site on Speed Insights, it ended with an error. I have a 2 other wordpress sites installed in my folder for subdomains. Can you please hep me what can be the problem? (It says NO_FCP) Thank you for your help! :)
