In the 70th, I was in the Russian military, serving in the radio transmitter center. The radio transmission equipment used similar tubes in the output stage. When it was ON, we where not allowed to stand closer than 2 meters from the equipment due to the immense amount of elector-magnetic radiation. We had to wait for 45 min. of OFF time before changing the tubes. It was the part of the regulations in the Russian army that really did not give a s...t about its soldiers. Hope these are not the same!

Marshall tube amps peak out at 100 watts. They were designed to fill stadiums. In the music business there's a term, "PA watts". When you get one of these 1500 Watt solid state guitar amps even the manufacturers will qualify it as not like a tube amp. You need to realize though that anything you can use to "describe the sound" of the amp is coloration?

WHEN EVERYONE SIMPLY NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT EVERY ONE OF THESE REVIEWERS ON KZread INCLUDING THIS ONE IS GUILTY OF ONE THING.. Claiming consistently all the time on a weekly basis that this is the best in the world these are my reference pieces of equipment, how many reference piece of equipment can you own and play at the same time, in a small room.. this guy a week ago said oh these are my reference speakers this is my reference amplifier this is my reference AVR does all reference of course it's a reference.. at least in the minds of those who create these advertisements.. you can't listen to everything all the time everywhere.. so if you have so-called quote unquote reference equipment.. how does that change about every 8 to 10 days..???? Everybody needs to answer themselves that question..
