This movie isn’t just about loneliness or the lack of someone. Personally I’ve related to it so much because of the feeling of being lost in life I feel, the feeling of not know who or what I am, the heavy feeling of wanting to be better but not knowing where I want to be or how I as a person want to be better… the true feeling of being lost as a person and trying to find yourself through the long but short journey of life.

I think that it was a wonderful twist and a great reflection of what life really is, so many people wait around their whole lives for some magical or mysterious thing to happen to them instead of just living a life that they are proud of, I love a good underdog story like spiderman but we can't expect a spider to give us super powers so we can turn our lives around, we must find our own purposes within ourselves.

The movie is not solely focused on the theme of loneliness or the absence of companionship. For me, it resonated deeply because of its portrayal of feeling directionless in life, not knowing one's true identity, the weighty desire to improve oneself without a clear sense of where or how, and the profound sense of being lost on the journey of self-discovery throughout the fleeting moments of life.

I have experienced the pain and confusion of having lived looking for meaning in self-improvement, the gym, and in money, and in status, and in validation from others. Culture is deteriorating and the prescription for meaninglessness is just more poison, like having a sex change. Divorce is on the rise, do you even know a healthy family? Depression and anxiety, isn't that half of the other young people we know? We're in the most progressive age that's ever existed, the most instant gratification right on our fingertips. And yet.... we're lost in life, we want to be better without knowing how, and we need to find ourselves. Reject modernity, embrace tradition. Seek God, however you conceptualize that. Go to church, even just once or twice. You will never, ever regret it and it could be what your soul has been hungering for your whole life. I right where your comment describes short months ago. Cyberpunk universe is pretty much related to the Bladerunner genre just that Bladerunner is based on Do androids dream of electric sheep and questions- what makes a human a human? When does a machine become a human? The Bladerunner series is much more grim due to the setting in original material and the movies. Cyberpunk is more about the aesthetic of a future world with often retro elements like neon, and it's not based on some material specifically but is the overall genre Also funfact- both of the Cyberpunk game; (not genre) and the Bladerunner series happen in same place- California and both involve nuclear wars

The best I can really describe it as is: A cycle of being lost and alone, empty on the inside. But you have to keep going on with your life, doing what you're supposed to do. The meme of literally me kinda overshadows how powerful K's journey is in this film. He's alone, feels inferior, lacks meaning and drive, and the only reason he picks himself up to actually do anything gets shattered. But he chooses to give himself the chance to do something meaningful. To seize meaning from a world that gave birth to him just for him to serve the purpose of others. Can't quite say he's literally me until I get that last part down, but still....he's literally me.

You're so close to the other side, you don't have to jump yet, just take a little peek
This the type of a vibe u get on a sunday night
I always watch this video as the last thing before bed. So peaceful…
Literally.... Me
The aesthetics and the beauty of this film is on another level
Im so lonely it feels just like this i couldn’t relate more
The way he dies knowing he was just another replica and nothing special was haunting
turned 18 on new years and still feels so lonely and sad.. everyone is here in these comments or watching these kind of videos because of reasons they can't explain to others... condolences to the guy who lost his wife and kid

Seek God, however you conceptualize that. an absolute tragedy that this movie underperformed in the box office. This is the kind of Sci-Fi I want to see. Not whatever the new Marvel Phase regurgitates. We have Dune, but I'd do anything to have more Bladerunner.

I suppose one good thing about the cyberpunk universe we're heading towards is that AI will be able to generate movies and music for all of our sci-fi ideas.

This edit is just perfect.
one of the most underrated movies
Man I relate to this character so so much!! Yes I agree I am not the most charismatic person or the most coolest one or say a person who is a party addict but my mom raised me like a gentleman. I always talk with people in respectful manner and have a very helping attitude despite the fact what hurts me is when I see some people who are literal A-holes and over smart people who manage to get attention. I just spend most of the time by myself from doing my routine work and going to the gym. It has been years since someone texted or called me asking about my well being, You know I have to be the one who has to text someone in order to get a reply but since last couple of months I have stopped doing that as well. When I go out to the store or a café, I do the hello how are you talk for a few seconds, but that's not really talking to someone. The only people I have a 2 way conversation are my parents/siblings. During some weekends I just go out for some hiking by myself!

You're going to be alright. You just stumbled over a stone in the road. It means nothing. Your goal lies far beyond this, doesn't it? I'm sure you'll overcome this. You'll walk again...soon
