I miss when Skylanders had their own individual animations for their Soul Gems, they didn’t have that in SuperChargers and Imaginators, but I guess the Senseis did have their Sensei Shrine animations so that kinda counts

I loved playing skylander spyros adventure through Swapforce. It was the most 8 years of fun I’d ever had as a kid. ❤

I always did enjoy remembering which Skylanders they used as the main image for each game. Spyro (Spyro's Adventures, of course). Tree Rex (Giants). Wash Buckler (Swap Force). Snap Shot (Trap Team). Spitfire (Superchargers). King Pen (Imaginators).

Fun fact, throughout every soul game in the series the camera is physically interacted with 3 times, those being the giants version of Wrecking Ball (who cracks the camera), the giants version of Camo (who covers the camera in watermelon), and Crusher (who turns the camera to stone)

Footage of a simpler age, the nostalgia hits hard. I loved these games, the first skylanders actually being the first game I ever completed.

I guess Gill Grunt is one of the only or maybe THE only Skylander that made it to Series 5. I mean he made it for 5 years straight to stay up to date from Spyro's Adventure to Superchargers.

We recently found out that these were much cooler. They used to be little origin story slideshows which would show up when you first put the skylander on the portal. It’s really a shame they scrapped that because from what we saw of “the bomb troll” for boomer it looks really cool and way more appealing then an ad. Also brings us closer to that early 2000s B list platformer vibe which was cool about the first 2 games.

Memories 11:00 I don’t know why but this might be my favorite Soul Gem 10:33 but this will always remain victorious

In my opinion, all the soul gems from Spyro’s Adventure to Trap Team I like. I like the Skylanders having their own animations. I especially love giants because they sometimes interact with their names

I found about 75% of my skylanders in my moving box, I got a lot of nostalgia all at once, so I brought them all to school with me in a giant freezer bag, also I’ve got skylanders imaginators on my switch to play on as well…😅

Most of my skylanders are broken thanks to my sisters when they were younger

I never got Trap Team, but the Trap Masters I would get are Snap Shot Enigma Gear Shift Wallop Tuff Luck Gusto Wildfire Krypt King Knight Light and Knight Mare

There are no alternate Soul Gems for color variants. If you're playing Spyro's Adventure, Spyro's Soul Gem is found in Crawling Catacombs, and if you've found it, Dark and Legendary Spyro's can purchase their Soul Gem upgrade as well. If you're playing any other game, the Soul Gem upgrade is available from the start of the game.

It's weird how there are two water brawler senseis.

Still upset that for imaginators, light and dark still got shorted a skylander even though each element got 2 new skylanders and a villain. Light and dark only got 1 and a villain and that just irritated me for some reason

You do not need to find Soul Gems in Giants for Skylanders first found in Spyro's Adventure; they will be able to purchase their Soul Gem upgrade at any time. The Giants "Soul Gem cutscene" you see in the video were simply promotional videos.

39:09 i as always disappointed finding out dive clops doesn’t actually have this multi-torpedo attack in game:/ he’s the most underwhelming character I own in my opinion Same with 41:57 nightfalls in game attack not actually being like this
