Lzzy's not playing a 'traditional' 12-string - it's a twin-neck, treble and baritone guitar, six on each. Lita's on a 12 & 6 twin.

I love that Lita Ford said that SHE feels honored to tour with Lzzy Hale, I can almost guarantee that Lzzy felt MORE than honored to be on stage with such an amazing female rock legend!!!!!!

Ozzy wrote the lyrics and melody - Lita wrote the music...he was having bad troubles in his marriage to Sharon... As many times as I've heard this tune I always thought the words were "...And when we sleep would you shelter me in your warm and dark *embrace* " - it's actually "warm and darkened *grave* " .... masterpiece 🔥

Actually Lita was hanging out at Ozzy's house ( invited by Sharon first time she ever met him I think) and Sharon went to bed She didn't even go there to write a song that night but It all came together and by morning they had it done

Lzzy blows every cover she does out of the water! This girl rocks and will go far with her talent! Definitely a top rocker in my opinion and deserves to be placed up there with the great performers.

lita, being human, is probably both genuinely praising the coming together and annoyed and pissed inside at lzzy's over-claiming the 'spot', and the camera person likewise over focusing on lzzy let alone any black balloons 'passing the torch' stuff.

I was Lita's security at Ramstein Germany in 1988 with Bon Jovi. They did a benefit concert for the Flugtag air show crash for free. Yes she is that hot and yes she is that sweet and awesome.

Well she had almost a decade where she didn't perform to have children. So her voice was saved up for more years. Its the same thing with Michael Kiske. He didn't tour for almost 15 years, and now he performs to the same ability he had during the 80's.

Garegh62 What I meant by it was her voice wasn't worn out due to constant touring. Michael Kiske made albums without touring for years. He always training his voice, and using his voice on other projects. Until he finally came back to tour in 2013 to now. So his voice was never worn out through constant touring. Throughout touring singer James LaBrie of Dream Theater wore out his voice on a few tours, even getting a throat infection. On some tours he's great an awesome, and some of the tours his voice was shit. And that's from 23 years of touring. Michael Kiske didn't tour for almost 15 years, and his voice still sounds like he did from the late 80's & early 90's.

Damn.... I've loved that song for MANY years. It's really my fav of Litas. She's right, never heard it sang with another chic before, but MAN, Lizzy is sincerely the baddest ass young one, already with a shit ton of experience under her belt, and can rock just as hard and as awesome as ANY of the woman out there. I love her attitude and voice, but mostly, she gives respect and credit where it's due, and that speaks volumes to me. I've seen some younger generation musicians who don't even mention their influences, or their own idols coming into their own. It sucks too cuz egos get in the way I guess.... but damn, this chic is THE TOTAL rock "package"!! Keep it up girl!! Love that shit!!!🤘
