I cut my finger while I’m cooking this morning. 😱 Fortunately, it is not the tip of the finger but still very hurt too 😭 Rhapsodie espagnole is one of the most difficult pieces by Liszt. For me, it is even harder than Mazeppa or La Campanella. Obviously, it is longer but also technically, physically, and musically demanding. I always keep in mind the repertoire that you all request - I wrote down on my further repertoire list including Chopin ballade 1st and 4th, Liszt Tarantella, Hungarian Rhapsody 2nd, Rachmaninoff Moment musicaux and etc. My channel grows up very slowly but even though I am really happy to share my music with you. So don’t be disappointed! 😘 I want to focus on complete Chopin Etude in June (almost done!!) and keep continuing to upload the essential piano music. I will upload Liszt Sonata (which takes 30 minutes) when my channel reaches 1000 subscribers!!!! 🤩 Don’t cut your finger and have fun playing and watching!

Finally an KZreadr pianist who plays not overplayed pieces! Liszt has so much to offer and people play all the same pieces every time. Your renditions and technique are impeccable. Rubato at appropriate measure and everything. You are a living promise. And I say promise because promises can be broken, they may never happen. If you just give up suddenly, it's just as fine. Your worth does not rely upon what you do or what you do not do. On another note, if I may suggest (just found your channel, might be redundant, so pardon me if I am late), I'd say play some lesser played composers (amongst KZreadrs), maybe Alkan, Skriabin, Busoni, Sorabji, Bartok, Blumenfeld, Finissy, Ligeti, and so on. It will add tenfold to this awesome sphere that is KZread pianists. And you can do these composers justice with your wonderful technique (plus your interpretation really gets into the piece, you have something transpersonal going on there).

Who would dislike a masterpiece like this
Fun fact: the overall theme of this piece is the La Folia progression. It has been used in numerous ways by numerous composers since the 16th century, and possibly even earlier. It's typically known as a D-minor progression but has been used in different signatures. Other composers that have used this are Corelli, Vivaldi, Marin Marais, Lully, Mozart, Händel, Geminiani, and even Rachmaninoff.
Traum es una bestialidad. Todas las piezas de Franz Liszt las toca con una prodigiosa avilidad exacta y extrema precisión como ningun otro pianista. Es el top1 de los pianistas. Nadie como el
