I love how you portrayed don’t panic And that’s honestly pretty accurate I always get chills hearing that iconic solo

For Always In My Head, i always envisiined someone flying through Space. No ship or nothing. Just Superman/Hancock-ing it through Deep Space. Lost in thought.

Along with Jacob2004, I just have to give you A lot of respect for the B-sides… Some of those are my favourite Coldplay songs…

Their old stuff has shit tons of fans. They sell out every stadium they play in, and most self respecting musicians acknowledge how good their early stuff was. It's just that the army of people who willingly expend their breath trashing the band is weirdly high, and an extremely loud subgroup that drowns out all the normal people

Keane have been derided by some as cheap Coldplay imitators (I think they've got some good music in their own right, even if they do only have about two unique songs across their discography) and they have an incredible legion of fans in and around Mexico City. I get the sense that that sort of music, plain though some may call it, touches a primal part of us that wants to dance and connect and release emotions and get lost in the melody and whatnot, and that the Latinos are more in touch with that part than Westerners. Guarantee you there are entire swathes of Westerners who secretly like some of what Coldplay have put out (early stuff in particular) and are too ashamed to admit that they do

There would even be no problem with the fact that they change musical genres.

Dude have you not heard some of their less known songs? Go listen to major minus live In Paris. Listen to Chinese Sleep Chant. Listen also to Sleeping Sun, The Goldrush, Moving to Mars, Arabesque, Coloratura, Break of Dawn.
