What about bluetooth. Your not able to ask someone to put that gadget on there phones before making sad phone calls. Or does is or will it have data of all the conversation s ever made to be able to choose which call you want to lissten in on???

We have Comcast providing voip for 3 lines at the office, the main modem runs to a voip box that converts it to 3 wired phone lines. I wonder if this can monitor the 3 lines if connected between the modem and voip box?

Very likely. It's not very common for these types of setups to be encrypted. Of course, make sure you're authorized to tap into those lines before doing so.

@@tristanbolton I thought the voip box was connected to the modem via a network cable but the coaxial cable is split between the modem and voip box (I keep drawing a blank what "voip boxes" are called). So I'm not sure it is possible this way. The modem has 2 phone lines available to come out of it but since we have 3 they run it to a secondary box.. I'm going to try sniffing network traffic to see if it is encrypted. It's Comcast, so it's probably "voip"
