I am non partisan and I will say as a very skeptical person, this speech is the first our president has been on point. I may not support any of these political parties, I support Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. God bless our nation. Let someone fresh run with the flame🔥. We appreciate what the freedom fighters have done for us, even to bringing land back into the hands of black people but it's only in the hands of a chosen people not the rest of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. Our children have gone abroad and learnt these new applications in science technology. Let them now lead. If it were possible it would be healthy to eliminate democracy and remove this partisan mentality coz we have ended up fighting each other instead of fighting our problems. A constitutional monarchy would have been ideal but we need to find a way to choose royalty and establish it not only in Zimbabwe but across Africa where decisions are made solid and not a matter of preferential chaos. We need to fight based on a single mindset. Not for a party but for a nation, and consequently for a continent. It's high time we unify to present a united Africa

Governments are there to *_FACILITATE_* the successes of their internal talent, not suppress it, repress it, compete with it or stifle it. Sadly, most African leaders are opportunist business men, just looking to corner the monopoly on wealth generation - FOR THEMSELVES _ONLY._ 🤬 What has Mnangagwa been doing since assuming the premiership. How many intracontinental treaties has he initiated, completed? Talk is cheap, sadly, abject failure _isn’t._

I have never seen anyone who plays a blame game succeed or archive in anything in life....these old people must admit that they are failures, even if we agree with him in his blame card, still it proves that the white men is smarter than this old dudes, why can't they just surrender the power to the young and fresh people to deal with the white men.? America unilaterally and illegally imposed sanctions in order to have a chilling effect on those who dared to challenge white supremacy. Where was the rest of Africa when this happened - working in the US state department..?! _Russia_ more recently underwent similar isolation. It _internalised_ it’s market, strengthened it’s self-sufficiency and found new external partners - it’s economy is _booming_ as a result. What have African governments been doing except factionalising their electorate, racking up airmiles and daily subsistence allowances and *_NOT_* delivering? 🤬

That was a very good speech. Thsnk you and well said President ED. I remember watching former President, RG Mugabe saying the very same thing that sadc or Africa must unite and collaborate so that where Botswana a desert needs water, all of sadc pour skill and finance towards that. If Naminia needs to set up a car manufacturing plant , we all pour finance to sponsor that so that we all benefit from it than going to the west or east for it. Where Zimbabwe needs a smelter and refinery for platinum, all the sadc countries pour in finance to build that so that Zambia, Congo does not send its raw materials to China or Europe for processing. This way as Africans we retain the true value of our minerals etc etc. However as much as Mugabe put it so clear then , it seems many African leaders were too dull to understand that or were sleeping. The same today by that Speech Pres ED gave. I don't think any 9f them leaders saw that or understood it. Thank you Pres ED. Let's hope there will be a follow up in that

thats the biggest issue, most leaders and africans just dont listen enough to understand but to just make it pass. Mugabe tried his best but the only memories in most people's minds are that he was a dictator abusing people, killed whites to take land, destroyed the brea basket of africa etc while ignoring entirely the role played by the west in bringing that beautiful country down to its knees, if other african countries had helped us like how they are not honoring sanctions against russia zimbabwe would have never went down like it did. No other african country would have continued to suffer like it is now. They all feared the west and played along with the notion that mugabe was a tyrant

I truly appreciate your contribution, Mr. President. If us Africans unite ourselves and use the resources that we have in order to support ourselves we will find out that we have enough resources and we will never rely on European countries or countries that are overseas. I am happy you also mentioned about languages. As a French teacher l realised that there is a barrier that comes if a french and an English speaker meet together. So children must learn languages at a kindergarten age. I truly support your words Mr. President we love you.

This man has never made more sense to me before. Makes 💯% sense but I believe they have failed on a succession plan. They are nolonger the right generation to be the frontier to such a mentality. They ought to now sit back and become advisors. All along they should have been raising a youthful leadership that understands the gains of independence yet are far from the partisan mentality that they have nurtured. We appreciate the role they played and at the ideal time they offered it but Zimbabwe needs to now be open to all of it's people and not a chosen few. Borders and Zimra should open the door to allowing commercial equipment, vehicles and machinery for agricultural production and processing coupled with various manufacturing sectors absolutely duty free for at least 2 to 5 years and close in on luxury vehicles and processed goods imported from our nearby South Africa and the likes. Importing food for Zimbabwe in my head will never make sense. That science and technology being spoken about is what the younger generation has been learning about so as to better our transport, mining , health care, and infrastracture and agricultural fraternity. Mr President, with all due respect,, please let go and let the younger generation take over.
