jack did that because the series didnt matter too much except for improvement and confidence going into the major but he knew it didnt changee anything so he didnt get too excited about it and stayed chill

For those that don't know and are wondering about Jack's demeanor in this video: He said on stream that his excitement is something he tried to work on feeling that being too hyped could cause him to stress and make mistakes. So while FK and chronic are screaming and getting hyped, he felt like keeping calm would give him the best chances of winning.

Jack is such a great captain and I'm enjoying this roster a ton, I had my initial worries having FK on the team with his mental, but he seems more composed and confident with Jack and Allu at the helm. Excited to see what they do in Copenhagen!

FK has always been a bit of an enigma to me. Idk if he's just a shy dude who doesn't like to speak publicly much, but I almost never hear him talk. He could probably benefit from being forced into more public situations, like comms streaming with Jack or something, just to help him be less nervous maybe. I think that him being kind of reclusive hurts his public persona a bit as well, because it makes him seem a lot less charismatic.

Makes it worse, to me.. Jack says "You can go" and that he's behind him. Hindsight is 20/20 but Chronic should have went high so Jack could go low.

I actually think Jack is the leader that FK has needed. I've never rated FK purely because it was a case of "Give me the ball, I'll be the one to score" "Let me get it for my confidence" If this is really the case for FK aswell he needs to find ways to get over these confidence issues. Jack has grown into the best leader in NA, Chronic is always there and genuinely has a great mentality. This team as a whole is steadily and consistently improving. The major is going to be a blast to watch

100 percent agree, they're getting in their groove now and hopefully stay that way but eu teams will be hard to beat (KC seems almost unstoppable), hopefully they will get top 4 at the least at the major.

@@charlesbaird3713playing devils advocate here but GenG has a pretty standard NA playstyle but their sheer talent is really good. The fact they beat G2 here is a really good sign considering G2 has much more of an EU playstyle than an NA one. That’s why they’ve been so dominant this split, but if GenG can beat them, that’s a really good sign for them going into the major.

Jack's composure and fearlessness is empowering, Chronic's energy is invigorating, and ironically Firstkiller is the least confident despite being the best player on the pitch at all times. This team is fun!

Huge difference in the amount of comms coming from Firstkiller and the assetiveness in the comms from Chronic. you can see they have been working on that as well as the rotation structure to cut more and keep ball pressure in the way G2 had been suffocating them all season. I think these factors as well as Jack coming across less panicked in his gameplay is what gave them such a dominant weekend.

Jack has nerves of steel, it’s so clear why everyone says he has one of the best mentals in the game I’m also super impressed with chronics confidence, giving someone as well respected as FK instructions takes balls

Jack really is such a good compliment to Chronic. Chronic always struggled with mental, but Jack is almost always composed. Well done. Also love the respect you guys gave to Daniel's goal even in comms. It really looked like he had lost control of the ball, but he hadn't. And before you knew it he was flip resetting it into your net. You guys are 3 top tier 1v1 players. I really don't understand what Johnnyboi is on about saying this goal isn't crazy mechanical. An air dribble might not be, but the way he did it, with how awkward his car was the whole time and the ability to still get a flip reset at the end. All extremely creative and mechanical. Great work guys. I'll be cheering for you in Copenhagen, from my desk at work 😂

In the grand finals, almost all of G2s goals were off pure mechanical skill. The only goals GenG conceded due to mistakes or strategy were the first goals in games 3-5. GenG was insanely consistent and had G2 on lockdown.

The comms and energy are amazing. I knew the moment Gen.G announced picking up FK that this was going to be his best season and so far I haven't been disappointed. He needed a leader and teammate like Jack and Chronic to give him motivation and help him stay calm when the stress is ramping up and he looks better than he ever has as a result. Also, the players AND the YT production team giving Daniel's goal the respect it rightfully deserves. Go back and listen how the music builds up until Daniel gets his reset and then drops out completely, leaving only the players commenting on it, and doesn't come back until the replay starts. Love the sportsmanship.
