We really have no idea about such incidents happened and haven’t heard such things would be done by airline or airport authorities. Please let us and our subscribers know if she has gone through such instances? Since she is insisting you, I suggest you check with her on behalf of us and let us know if her luggage went through any such instances. Will be helpful for others who would read these comments. Thanks in advance.

@@meerataratamil2964 I don't think the airport authorities do such things. Since its gulf there is a high probability of gold smuggling. Personally she has not gone through such incidents but was warned by many NRIs residing in gulf.

Oh ok. But really no idea about gulf as we never visited there or post content about that. For us it’s only Canada as of now. And once you check in ur luggage it’s airline and airport responsibility I guess. Coz after we check in, it’s looked into it by them only. And if u lock, if they suspect anything inside, they will have to tear it to check it. So it’s upto you to lock it or leave it.
