List of Great Americans | Hall of Fame for Great Americans Honorees
The Hall of Fame for Great Americans is an outdoor sculpture gallery located on the grounds of Bronx Community College in the Bronx, New York City. It is the first such hall of fame in the United States. Completed in 1900 as part of the University Heights campus of New York University, the 630-foot (192 m) stone colonnade half-encircles the university library and houses 98 bronze portrait busts of a number of prominent Americans. Designed by architect Stanford White (who also designed the library), the Beaux Arts structure was donated by Helen Gould, and was formally dedicated on May 30, 1901. New York University (under severe financial distress) was forced to sell the campus in 1973 to the City University of New York and it became Bronx Community College. Though the Hall's renown has itself faded, its architecture remains, and it stands as a secular national shrine not just to great men (and some women), but to Roman ideals of fame favored at the beginning of the 20th century.

Trump gives away most of what he is paid to the government or other stuff...most of the time if not all the time, he cashes out everything leaving $1 for obvious legal purposes.
On 22 should you not put his pen name Mark Twain? I haven't heard of some of these people, so as a lifelong knowledge accumulator lol I find this interesting, and I'm going to go Google them later, thanks, also I like the presentation style.

Odd how several confederate soldiers and slave owners are here, while their statues are being torn down. Johnny Appleseed, Louis Armstrong ( who is on the 100 most important people of the last 1000 list, yet on this), Davey Crockett were not on that list, nor were any Native Americans, Eleanor Roosevelt was also missing. So many others, I am sure some Asians and Latinos probably deserve to be on this list as well.

They are still considered great Americans due to military greatness and genius not by what they sided or believed in.

Defender of Nature And their Military greatness was just flashy victories that never amounted to much in the end, the Confederates looked in the short term while the Union looked at the long term, which is one of the reasons they won the war

Most confederate soldiers fought to simply defend their homes last time I checked secession was completely legal at that time

@@meta_blox3382 He totally mismanaged the Bsy of Pigs. And the Soviets certainly did not build the Berlin Wall when Eisenhower was presidential. The knew better. Kennedy is overrated. It's just that you don't know it.

I think no athletes here. maybe they are in separate hall of fame
no one native american, no martin luther king, no jazz musicians, no actors and actress, no einstein (was an immigrate, but william penn too), this is just a stupid list without any logic
