That was part of the downfall. Swartz was used by Sandervol because Swartz has a good heart and is a people pleaser amd wants peace. But hopefully he has learned unfortunately that Sandervol simply used Swartz. And I really feel for Swartz. His world has been turned upside down. Family issues, lost his wife ( because he always or majority of time picked Sandervol over Kayie. But hopefully he turns the negative I to positive life lessons. And it's never a mistake if you never repeat it. My prayers go out to Swartz and hope he grows from all he went through this past year. You got this Swartz, you took the first step by putting distance between u and Sandervol, because he wasn't a true friend to u, it appears anyway.

Men get over breakups quicker in my experience (not all men, but a lot of them think the best way to get over someone is by getting under someone else). I have a strong feeling that Tom is going to realize what he lost when it really stinks in what he did. Ariana truly gave him everything, including support and trust that he was very much undeserving of. When she's finally living her life and at her happiest, that's when he's going to start regretting some of these choices he made.

I watched the whole episode and learned more about these people and their dynamics, then I have the whole season. Great television by the way, it was like a Eugene O'Neill play where you slowly understand why each character has the perception of the situation they have, and how each are a bit tragic in their own way.

Sad they had to get divorced instead of Tom actually growing a pair and supporting Katie the way a husband should. He had everyone in the worlds back but Katie’s I don’t understand why it was so hard for him todo that for her. He’s not a bad guy but he has no loyalty

Swartz's tears are too little too late. There is seriously something wrong with him. He's so distracted by the shinny object in the distance, instead of the jewel in front of his face. I'm glad that Katie finally said enough is enough. Swartz has been so unkind, dismissing, absent from their relationship, long before they were even married, and it continued. He needs to see a therapist. I think down deep, he is a super sweet guy; unfortunately, it's either the alcohol, or drugs he does with Skankoval that is messing his brain up. Hell he has a sibling in rehab, he also may have a problem with substance abuse. If not that, he needs help, something is NOT RIGHT with HIM!!

Schwartz really just knows what he wants at the time; he and Katie are a lot alike in that they are aloof and fly by the moment and are totally passive-aggressive in their disdain for their enemy... this is why they got along and they should still be together afterwards because their personalities are too much alike -- it's like you love someone after you get divorced...I do hope Schwartz gets a new beautiful woman but still does Raquel for time and energy while Katie remains jealous and that well runs dry... because Katie is controlling and bitter -- that's enough to make a man really pick at a woman.

Katie is NOT a Jewel. Bwhahah.. what does she bring to the table that a man would want? She's angry, she's a nag, she's chubby and out of shape, she's unattractive.. Katie is not appealing to high value men. That's why she was stuck with Schwartz..

This is why the cast members with kids need to leave the show, to protect their children. Bravo doesn't care who gets hurt, as long as they make profits.

It saddens me cus ik if he would of been more loyal like he was to scamdoval to katie they would of went the distance. It also shows how well they were doing as friends before fakechel pretended to like him on purpose to throw off Ariana or make scamdoval jealous it ruined Katie's trust n friendship with Swartz n It's sad cus it was done at his expense by his own best friend. So glad Swartz woke up during his interview on Jax n Britney's podcast. Swartz was used over n over again by a best friend that didn't care about nobody but himself.

Schwartz could have had a wonderful marriage without Sandoval. Sandoval kept him around and kept helping screw up his life because he's one of those people who sabotages you so that they feel superior to you. Like they'll never have to face how bad their life is because they reassure themselves that yours is far worse. Katie and Tom would never have worked as long as the other Tom was around.

The difference between katie and Tom schwartz is that he didn't cheat on katie with her best friend, so them living together after they broken up or divorce is not the same thing as Ariana and tom sandoval.

I hate to be a Schwartz apologist (because I definitely believe he didn’t do right by Katie fully as a husband should) but hearing all the personal family issues he’s been going through, on top of getting divorced (which is obvious they still love each other and he doesn’t actually want to get divorced), to selling their home and then now having his business and finances be all over the place .. I kinda feel bad for the guy cause tbh the common denominator has always been Sandoval. Sandoval has literally used Schwartz as a pawn this whole time now it’s affected his whole life. All because Schwartz wanted to be a good friend to Sandoval.

The difference is that Schwartz didn’t cheat on Katie which makes it easier to live together until they sell the house.

Tom Schwartz is a man-child. He has no clue how to be man. He couldn’t give Katie what she wanted, and as a younger woman, Katie could not see that either. He is a good person, but doesn’t know how to be a responsible man in the healthy male/ female relationship. He needs a life coach, who can clear all the cobwebs for him. This situation with Sandoval/ Ariana/ Raquel has totally derailed him. He needs to find direction for his life.

Having gone through a divorce at 30 myself, I get that phase where you’ve just separated and are in that weird nicey nice friend zone. But in my experience, the anger phase comes soon after and it’s at that point when the healing starts to peak around the corner. Also, scumdevil is a grotesque heathen.

It was always quite obvious that Schwartz was emotionally immature and not ready for marriage. It's true though my husband and I have been separated 5 years ago and after we decided to separate we lived in our apartment for over a year after just stayed in separate rooms and we both dated others and are still with those people..we know it's not going to work 18 years married and I thought happily but he wasn’t it's way more complicated than most people think

The Katie and Schwartz breakup is sad. It really is. Very different from the Sandoval/Ariana split which was a Blessing in Disguise for Ariana.

Season 3 and sone of season 4 explains all the outcomes of season 10.
